I heard that you can customize you car. what I want to know(if this is true) is it just the performance of you car you can customize or can you change the bodykits, rims, spoilers etc

why would it ruin the game? I think it would make the game better as you can make the car more custom, it would be boring if everyone had the same looking car.

i think the poin everyone is missing is that ugrades are available from the manufactureers catelogue, so if you want to "ruin" your car blame it on the manufacturers. Evsky you need to research your game before you start posting randoms!!

Im talking about ruining SUPERCARS like putting 28" Rims and Pearlescent Pink paint with an exhaust as big as a manhole cover. Upgrades from the manufacturers catalogue usually mean sat-nav, improved sound system, AMG wheels and kit (if a mercedes), Different grills and lights etc. etc.

Nothing that makes it a Mess, it makes it more luxury and special.

Have you not seen the 10 minute trailer? there will be upgrades from the manufactures catalogues and other known tuning companies. There will be no vonyl's option they said as they think it would ruin the supercar.

Ltes just say they mention that Novatec are in the game and they do bodykits and performance mods for ferrari's :P heres a couple of pics of Novitec Ferrari F430's. Just click the links below. Tell me what ya think and NOW tell me you dont want to buy test drive unlimited lol :P

Well lemme just tell u one thing that may get people who want mods a little excited. Novatec do performance mods for Alfa Romeo's, Fiats and Ferrari's. Not so sure about this but they mentioned novatec doing mods for lambos which i dont think they do. Heres the best part they do mods for the following ferrari's:

Ferrari 360 Spider / Modena

Ferrari F430

Ferrari 575

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

and best of all to most of you (not me)...

I will use the Ferrari / novitec example. That doesn't mean there is or not Ferraris in game ! I m just using the example already posted above.

Let say you bought a few days ago a shiny yellow F430.
You want to customise your ride ? Alright but you won't be able to freaking ruin it by adding flame stickers, purple neon and change its body to have it look like the Enterprise from star trek.
Why ? Cuz we don't like that and because I doubt Mr Ferrari would let us do it :nuts:
So instead, you drive your car to the novitec shop, select the upgrade or full model if it exists, pay the price and voilà.
Upgrade in games are not for everyone, I mean, they aren't cheap at all !! But they worth it.
Just look around at what Henessey is doing with a viper, that's an other example that is or is not in game, (who knows ? well I do but I won't tell you or my boss will skin me alive.. he's reading forums too ! Hi David <3 !) to show you that upgrading a car could really worth it (/drool 1000 bhp).

I tend to find vinyl customisation and stuff like that tends to ruin a game n e way... its repetitive caus noone ever has a normal car and sometimes i just like to race a NORMAL car. The hennesey viper wont bother me caus im english and i dont really like vipers lol (waits for hatred)

Funny enough the car im most looking forward to is the 350z, my favourite car even if it isnt the fastest. The Gallardo Roadster is also nice :p very :wink2:

Hello all. can any1 confirm. Are we talking indepth tuning.? I.E. suspension setup, camber, anti roll bars etc ??. + i can't believe the release date has been moved forward :cry: :o was lookin forward to it big time....

Im sceptical about setups but upgraded suspension etc etc will most likely be available.

I hope you can tune you DB9 to a DB9S!(replica of DBR9 I THINK)
