Hey,

just completed greenwich was a great time preparing for Halloween!
I build up until I get the Soho & Tribeca district unlocked message, when I click either on the message in the Opportunity window or the marker on the minimap, the game crashes!

I've updated drivers, shut down firewall n such just in case
i'm up to date on specs, with 1 gb of ram and a ATI 9600 128 mb card, not too sure what's the problem :)

Oh, mine just went through. I have found you have to keep saving the game regularly, as it will occasionly crash for no reason.
Also, with some mice with scroll wheels, when you catch it wrong it'll minimize the game, luckily it doesn't crah it. 10sur10 <<< Well, 10/10 for game. 8/10 for technical glitches.

Exact same problem, finished everything in Greenwich, click to goto Soho and blam: crash to desktop.

PC is Prime stable for 24hrs +, Memtest for 24hrs+, 3DM 05/06 and all latest drivers installed.

Back to the store if there's no fix in a couple of weeks, shame I was kinda enjoying it too. :(

Same problem here, i got a brand new PC so theres not to blame on the PC..
Seems like more people are having this problem so hopefully a patch comes out soon or some information on how to fix it might be nice too..

Its not the pc that is the problem, its the game. But it would be nice to get some info from atari, about the bugs in the game........ :nono:

the crash is caused by the no-cd patch as far as i know

i tried the nocd patch because the game would not start due to securom issues (having blacklisted software installed causes that) and i had the crash when going to soho too

now that i have uninstalled daemon, alcohol and some other programs AND romeved all traces in de windows registry (!! important !!) i can play the next districts, i just have the 'no sound' problem now wich is strange because with the nocd patch i got the sound just fine

i hope there will be some new security system wich does not use a 'software blacklist' because i dont like having to take my original cd's from their cover and damaging them each time i use them, instead i'd rather save an image on my harddrive

yup the no cd is the cause of that crash, i switched it with the normal exe of the game and it works fine with the cd to soho

gotta say it's quite annoying to use the cd though :)
