I have an Alienware m7700a laptop with a:

Athlon 64X2 4400+
2 Gigs of Ram
7800 GTX 256Mb

When I start the game up it loads in the first screen, then it loads in the second screen and then the Nvidia Advertisment comes up, during the Advertisment the game crashes and dies and I can't do anything, I can see that my CTRL+ALT+DELETE has been registered becasue the mouse icon comes up but the task manager doesn't so I have to restart manually. It's annoying because I now have a pretty kick-*** computer and it wont run.

I also have the European 1.2 Patch. Don't know if that helps.

P.S: Don't critisize me because I have an Alienware, they're kick-*** and worth it. This is the first problem I have had.

You can change the Game inf file to by pass the loading screen and save some mem. What you need to do is change a 0 to 1
Look for this in the Game inf note pad will work to do this. Yours will have a 0
at the end just change it to a 1 Hope this helps you

Sounds like a driver needs to be updated either the motherboard driver or the graphics card driver. Also have you tried to reinstall the game? maybe it will help
