Downloaded the patch (which can be found also from the German and Finnish Atari-sites :mefiant: ), tried to install, and then got the promising message: This patch will update TCNY (Euro), EUROPE RETAIL_v.1.00 to 1.1.0.5_2006-02-17. Well, and the next window tells me: Fatal Error / Invalid patch file. :noooo:
Btw, my version of TCNY is 1.0.1.3.

Do others have the same problem?

nope it says 1.00 on the patch but it will patch 1.0.1.3 to 1.0.1.5, at least it did in mine!

I wonder if there is any patch for Euro V. 1.0.1.3 coase I have tried the one from this website but it did't work for the version I have.

Game wont work after patch I have 1.0.1.3, then patched and it says 1.0.1.5 but after the logo screens it just says "TycoonCity.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I have uninstalled restarted reinstalled etc but same thing every time, was "working" before I patched it. Anyone know how to sort this out?

I also installed patch - installation went fine - then when loading up a message appeared:
" A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed."

Have no idea how to fix it. The game only works again if I reload but don't install the patch!

I have trouble with the game just quitting to the desktop.
It'll play fine for a while without the patch. As soon as I get a decent profit going it'll quit to the desktop.
The same happens even with the patch installed, so I'm at a loss.
I have uninstalled it and re-installed it several times deleting my save games and starting from scratch. But again the same problem.
I was really enjoying the game and to know I can't play it to completion is frustrating.
Hopefully something is done to fix this and the other errors people here have reported.
