Erm I would say 99.9999999% yes :) I mean, c'mon, if you can do that much stuff already, surely you can move your roof up and down.

No a convertable car will have the roof down all the time, this has been answered on the TDU america forum.

Right I found the post from Atari US forum (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=515009)

For those of you that want to read through the whole post, but for those of you that don’t here’s a brief synopsis of the thread. Magicfr is a TDU dev

1. lets say i buy a viper SRT-10 convertible... will i be able to raise and lower the "soft top"

2. What about shifting gears, will there be a way to shift using the right analog stick?
no.

no.
I know guys it is disapointing.

We'd also like to have the soft top to be animated, but this something so complex that we didnt had time to implement.

That will be for the sequel ^^

cheers,
well, the Dodge Viper for exemple, exists in 2 versions, roadster and coupé version.

If you buy the roadster version, you will always have it without roof.

Of course you'll still could go to a Tuner :)

cheers,

I dont get how they r going to fit all the stuff onto the 360 controller like lights, radio, windows, windscreen wipers, the handbrake accelerate brake

SIMON008

itll probably be good either way though

I dont get how they r going to fit all the stuff onto the 360 controller like lights, radio, windows, windscreen wipers, the handbrake accelerate brake

accelerate brake trigger buttons, beep horn push right thumb stick in, right thumbstick rotate looks around the cockpit, push left button in flash lights, a button handbrake b button gear down, y button gear up, d-pad radio, right bumper wind screen wipers left bumper bring up GPS, that still leave you with the x button free.

(this is all just a guess, but how i'd try and do it if i was making the game)

Gaskellorama

well seeming as the x button was left over you can use that button

Most likey i think they'd use the shoulder buttons for radio and D-Pad for Windows, Lights etc. etc.

SIMON008
29-03-2006, 19:05
yeah d-pad up lights,d-pad down windows,d-pad left windscreen wipers,d-pad right lights
lb view,rb radio,
r accelerate,l brake

This is my serious attempt at guessing the controls:

Right Trigger: Accelerate
Left Trigger: Brake
Right Button: ???
Left Button: View Change
Left Analogue: Steer
Right Analogue: Look Around in any view
D-Pad: Lights (Up), Windows down(Left), Radio(Down) and Windows up (Right)
Buttons: (A) Handbrake, (B) Up Gear, (Y) Look Back and (X) Gear Down

SIMON008
