Seeing as the game has a huge map with over 1,000 miles of road, I was wondering if you'd be able to drive off road as well?
Not meaning race wise but if you felt the need to explore in your car or motorbike in between races.
Obviously not the first thing you want to do in your new supercar or motorbike, but I was just curious. :hin:

I remember something about not being able to go on Private land but you can travel on open fields and probable hills.

Thanks for the info Evsky. At least they aren't letting all the green bits at the sides of the road go to waste. Hopefully they dish out more info.

I saw a real life Lamborghini Murciélago, on the way home from work today.... :respect:

Don't even suggest driving something as beautiful as that through a field...

Hi Understudy. I wouldn't dream of driving a Lamborghini off road. I was just curious as to whether it was possible in the game. So what colour was the Lamborghini that you saw?

Yellow, cruising slowly up the Kings Road in a traffic jam..

Much more class than the Ferarris we see here, the guys driving them are constantly over-reving and trying to attract attention. rolleyesa

So Understudy, what expensive car would you consider driving offroad if you had to? (Say that maniac or whatever the mission is goes after you.) eekblue:
Personally I'd opt for a muscle car. Hopefully there are more than a handful of them in the game when it is relased in a couple of months time.

This sure is possible - i quote from an interview

'the most impressive thing about the game's visuals is simply the broad range sheer amount of them. In addition to the roads, you can drive off-road if you like, with the ability to snap back to the closest road with the touch of a button. I don't know if there are any off-road areas that are not driveable, but I did not encounter any during my preview of the game.'

Hope that answered your question!

Well the Bugatti certainly seems a good choice for offroading.
Hopefully they may add trucks in a future update once they recover from making the game and getting it into our mits.
Quite looking forward to it. Something worth getting the full 12 month Gold membership for? Time shall tell.

Why not ? :p
Read the page on TDU's lamborghini on IGN (here (http://cars.ign.com/articles/700/700384p1.html))

Lamborghini was building tractors (http://www.samedeutz-fahr.com/lamborghini/) before sports cars

Well Davie I'd only recently gotten broadband, and only tried out X-Box Live as I got a free month's trial with my X-Box 360.
Handier now you don't need a credit card.
More than likely I'll order the 12 month Live Gold Membership when I order the game itself. :)

Hi Vibroboy, well I was trying to be a bit reserved when I said I wouldn't drive a Lamborghini offroad. Trying not to get slated too much. :wink2:
Thanks for the link though.
Nice choice of picture also, one of my favourite screenshots from the game.
Seeing as you are on the inside, wouldn't happen to have any '69 Dodge Chargers in the game by any chance? I won't tell anyone honest. tonguegre

I hate those free trials! They were alot of the cause for all the cheating on galo 2! Thats why I don't think there are any free trials anymore because people were using them until they got banned for cheating. At one point I had about 7!

Well the month Gold trial I got with the 360 was good, mostly as it was free, but I finally had broadband and everything needed to get online and experience Live. I had a few races on PGR3 and NFSMW. I got many a free trial with some of the original X-Box games I got, but you needed a credit card. Made good book marks though. :)
Oh yeah, nice off road Lamborghini you posted too. Definitely take that one off road if given the keys and a full tank.
