With all the Dev’s busy playing TDU and supposedly putting the finishing touches to it (yeah right they just practicing so the don’t all get destroyed when the game is finally released) I was just wondering whether it has been planned to release a downloadable demo on the Xbox live Marketplace in the near future. It should at least give you an idea of demand for the game, just in case the mass of websites and forum activity doesn’t give you enough info.

Also have costs for the downloadable content been agreed yet, if so can you give us a rough estimate, you can put it in the stupid Microsoft points if you have to!!

Ta very much

Also what would be nice is the release date for the very first peice of downloadable content?

I've got a feeling that this game could be the racing equivalent of CounterStrike: Source!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the content will be free! Oh the good days on mm2 when all the content was free...oh the good days... rolleyesa

Evsky I would say it is more the racing equivalent of WoW mdr1

Lol...

What I meant was, is that WoW is a similar type of game to TDU rather than css. I mean WoW is HUGE and so will TDU.

I was thinking and i came to a conclusion to what i was thinking about!

There is more than 1000 miles in the game cos' there is off road areas!

SIMON008

i thought in the 10 min video he said 1600 miles of road

evsky
06-04-2006, 22:59
Yes but he plays no part in creating the game, Look on every 'Hands On' write-up on every Games website that got one, they all say 1000 miles of road.

davie18
07-04-2006, 16:59
Yeh iv'e seen 1000 miles of road on numerous occasions.

Vibroboy
07-04-2006, 18:59
In fact, last time I checked, we had 1753km of road wich is a bit more than 1000 miles.
But for the yankees 1000 miles was easier to understand :p

Now if you want an other number.. all those roads are on 800 sq miles of landscape filled with trees, buildings and hawaiian girls  ok.. maybe not girls...

I hope you all realise how lucky we are to have someone from the development studio here to help out with information like this...

.. and to tease us and make us really jealous as well. tonguegre

Thanks Vibroboy :bravo:

Gaskellorama
07-04-2006, 19:34
Yeah thanks Vibroboy, so are you happy with the way the game is shaping up?

Vibroboy
07-04-2006, 19:40
You know, it's not my first game at all.
It's something like my 9th.
But it's the first one I m proud of. So yes, I m more than happy of what we doing with the game :)

vibro could u give us some info on how far u guys r with the game like 80% r so or are you guys just bughunting now?

SIMON008
09-04-2006, 16:01
yes of course they are they have been working on the game for about 2 years now

Crazed_Dodgem
09-04-2006, 16:58
that doesnt mean its done, if you look at half life 2 its launch was pushed back over a year to finish the game, and the extra year was just an extension! imagine how long the rest of the game must have taken to make if the extension was a year. you have to remember that TDU is a huge project and should be viewed in that context, im sure that the developers are working extremely hard to get this done (yeah right lolblue: ) and it will be finished when its finished!

p.s. why do we never see Mrwhite69 any more?

SIMON008
09-04-2006, 17:01
yeah but lets hope they put it forward not back

davie18
09-04-2006, 17:07
They wont put it forward, games never get put forward. I'd rather them push it back and have it sparkling ready when I buy it rather than have it sooner with alot of major bugs.

I think that with the advert to TDU, the song should be 'Don't believe the Hype' by Public Enemy, that would be so funny.

SIMON008
10-04-2006, 17:23
why have you seen the advert

davie18
10-04-2006, 21:41
No no no :nono:

He is saying, he thinks when there is an advert for TDU, thats what it should have in.

SIMON008
10-04-2006, 21:44

Crazed_Dodgem
10-04-2006, 21:53
FYI the song on the first trailer isn't called 'woohoo' its called 'song2' and is sung by 'blur' and i love that song aswell :)

Gaskellorama
11-04-2006, 22:17
Simon008, you really don't need to be so aggressive or arrogant,

he clearly says he's from Holland, and he's just letting us know when he can order it!!

you are all off topic anyway and it's no wonder legitimate questions don't get answered when you constantly flame anyone who posts!!

:nono:

SIMON008
11-04-2006, 23:18
no i dont i just dont like americans

Gaskellorama
11-04-2006, 23:25
what part of America is Holland in?

so what if you don't like americans you don't have to post it if it's not relevent to anything in the thread!!!

I don't like tomato soup but i don't go around slating people that do!!

it would be a complete waste of my time, if you can't be bothered to read someones post and understand it, don't post.

either wait till you've passed your GCSE geography (hopefully you'll learn where Holland is in your class) the other alternative is to let your parents know you play far to much xbox and to enrol you in a club so you can learn you develope some social skills, try scouts or do the bigger boys scare you?

Please, play nicely.

And just so that you know, if there is something we really don't like is national (and religious etc) antagonism. Or anything mean and not very clever of that kind.

Hope I won't have to say this again.

Go on the American TDU forums if you want to abuse Americans so badly, just don't call people American when they aren't. It really hurts :cry2:

I'll say it again nicely. No nasty, superficial comments about nationalities. This place is open to everybody and I don't want anybody to feel less then welcome. If you have irrational issues with some country, you keep it for yourself because we don't wanna hear.

Clear enough?
