Can' load my save game

Heey i have played long time and save and save on one savegame
i am i Harlem dis now :P
but now i can't load my save game (26mb)
the red load thing in TYCN is in the end and nothin happen song¨play ? :s

Hi everyone!

I also have now reached the Harlem level but as normal, the game crashed on me, and ever since I have been unable to load ANY of my saved games - none of them work at all now. I've been playing this game since February and it feels like it's 2 months wasted now!

Does anyone know how to get the saved games to work? I installed the EURO patch a few days before the 'final crash' and all seemed to be working fine so I don't think it's the patch at fault. The last time it crashed and I couldn’t load my saved game I tried clicking on "Safe mode" when prompted - did this make things worse for me!?

What a terrible game - nothing but trouble, which is a shame as it can be enjoyable.

Yes, the in-game crashes happened before I installed the patch and continued to do so afterwards. I had been playing and saving my games for about 3 days after I had installed the patch but it got to the point (and where I still am now!) that everytime I try to load ANY saved games it just crashes, the screen goes black, and it returns me to the Windows desktop. So I don't think the patch has made it any better or worse...worrying though...I've tried re-installing, with and without the patch, and I've unloaded EVERY running process that I didn't need and still no joy :mad:

Still, if anyone has any ideas how I can load my saved games it would be a big help.

i have no idea what you can do, jon law suggests borrowing someones grafics card to see if its a problem with that so i suppose you could try that. do you guys know how to finish the third opp on big dogs? i bought the bar and that all went fine but when i knocked it down, nothing happened and it wont tick off, is there something else im supposed to be doing??? its been doing my head in, ive left the game running incase i need to take over the competitor but that didnt work either please help guys :) xx

Just thought I'd give everybody an update. I have now managed to load my saved games after they kept crashing my system and what I did was to load the game but before 'load my saved game' I started a new game completly. I picked on a different person and started with a blank city. I then left that game and tried to load my saved game and hey, it worked! I am left with the photo of the person I started a blank / new city (god knows why) rather than the photo I had been using with my saved games but I'm not complaining as at least it allowed me to finsih the game at last!

Hope this helps anyone that was having the same problem.
