They really need to make the timelimit bigger..
I mean for solo play it should be unlimited..

I do understand though when my friend told me how people were all spread out when they could challenge each other, but wouldn't that call for more servers like they would do in final fantasy? and the player would be enabled to choose which server he would like to play on... makes sense.. i have more ideas as well, other than that i love the demo just wish the time limit wasn't so short. ;(

Was it you about a month ago what came up with the idea? You said something like: if there was a demo, maybe you have a certain amount of time to drive as far as you can. lolblue:

I can understand why they have wanted to put a time limit on the demo, but it would be nice if the limit could be extended to perhaps 30 Mins?

Cant you ppl understand y a time limit has been set its seems logical to me this demo is being used at E3 so what better way to stop ppl hogging the machines running the demo than put a time limit on it just think about how many ppl would be inline to try out this demo at E3. (its still ashame dont get me wrong it sucks.)

it took me an hour and 10, it depends on you conn speed i`m 2 meg, 10 meg takes about 15 mins 1 meg up to 3 hrs.

also mine disconnected 3 times in that time. i wonder if its the screen saver option that makes it happen.............?

When the screensaver comes up just press up on the directional pad, and it brings the screen back up. Or you can just leave it and it'll continue to download. If you press a button then you cancel your download.
Hopefully that helps.
The download did stop on me several times, saying that it was unable to complete the download and to try again later.
I just tried it again and again until finally the whole lot downloaded.

As weed2407 said -- it's an *E3 Demo* and they want those sweaty pod-hogging journos to walk away to give others a chance to play it. The demo is perfectly suited to E3 as it's set up to walk you through each time as you are forced to re-run it (rather than people just walking away with the car stationary facing a fence). Also forcing a re-run is good for the game's stability (if there are any memory leaks going in and out of races).

I do hope though that they replace it with a new demo soon after E3 on Marketplace, ie. removing the time limit and fixing those nasty crash bugs, and maybe giving us a couple more multiplayer races (and fixing the flash-your-lights-race waypoint bug).

i hope that they give an better demo soon with more cars and dealers or costimize shop. the time limit is really annoying while im crusing with the music on and just enjoying to have the police after me heh..

i saw that there are challenges and they have a reward of money. so if u win many of those is it possible to buy a new car??
