Slight "problems"with demo

First off i'd like to state that it clearly says that the download is a work in progress and expect some changes. But this thread is about things that were abit "wrong" with the demo. It's a strictly no-spam zone people, feel free to add comments..
1) I've realised that tagging along behinde other racers (not in a race or anything) that they constantly hit traffic, personally i find pretty poor and would've of like the A.I to drive more "carefully" when not in a race..

2)Connection to Live. Before you think i'm making a mistake, i'm not. I know that if the servers are busy your told and you play on your own, well twice it didn't say this and i went in to the game, i didn't say no other real-life gamers? I'm not sure if it's just me but has anyone played anyone real yet?

3) Why set a period of time on the demo?! I know it may involve the servers but why not just let us play offline?!

On the other hand the graphics of the game are awsome and keep up the good work :atari:

i have played with people in rl before. They were at the lambo showroom doing mad stunts lol. I have even played with someone at e3.

Sounded fun :( Another problem i found was when looking left or right at other racers it's too blury

Same problem, yesterday I could see other online players driving around in free roam. Today I could see them on the map but none of them were present on the road. The only way to meet people online was participating in the multiplayer race challenge.
But when driving around in free roam, the only other cars I meet are AI.
Anyone else having this?

I have this problem too, I saw them once and since then I only meet them in online races. And I am not offline. :)

I defintly agree, also the traffic is abit crazy too, the cars (normal crappy ones) turn into the other lanes constantly it's drivers me crazy :mad:

Ye the AI traffic isnt that good, and the engine sounds is completely ludacris, they all sound like the 430 spider.

i notice that if you stop at a junction or something the AI cars go straight into the back of you then the cops come after you

Can atari update the game/demo ? Since I got the demo police chases have disappeared, new text appears informing of fine. Also police cars left for a while but now I notice some are on the road again. One member posted about the police in Oahu having blue lights only, well funny thing, I drove upto and next to what looked like a sharper looking better quality cop car and he had blue lights, but when I hit him his lights changed to blue and red, and he never pursued me, but I'm pretty sure the cop cars look different. Maybe just me but ah well.
