Excellent game, one question [Archive]

This game is awesome, it can't get any better than online free roam. My only question is, can you somewhat tune your cars in any way, is there a performance shop, a paint shop, or a body shop so that you can fully modify your car and make it different than the others? If not thats alright the game is great but adding the tuning touch to this car game would make this seriously the best online game i've ever played.

tuning yes, rims yes, paint yes... i only think default type colors..

i hope they will allow mods like nfsu2 kind of even though that would be odd it would still be excellent customization to look different form someone else, which that is common sense... but still don't give them to much crazy bi-ased things.. lol

I cant see full customisation ever happening. You buy from the Manufacturers official catalogue.

HOWEVER, it would be nice if we could get some tuning companies such as RUF, Brabus, AMG so we can get official kits on our cars!!

I am one of the best in NFSU2, thats why I want tuning and performance parts, also because I want cars to be somewhat different so that everyone isn't spinning each other out to win, which i've experienced.

in nfs:mw my fiat punto does 0-60 in around 3 secs. mmmm realistic.....

i have around 10 cars, from a murcielago to a punto. They all go 0-60 in 3, max speed of 210 (approx.) and handle. the porsches spin at 2 miles per hour in 1st gear. wtf omfg

You do get all official aftermarket shops like AMG and stuff.

I'm not talking about body kits im talking about performance parts as in engine, tranmissions, sway bars, ect.. . . . . I'm also wondering if you could do things such as tune the engine or adjust suspensions. Would it be like forza

Well so far we have no answer to that. We do know that we can customise our cars, we just don't know how advanced the customisation will be :)

I've seen somewhere that you can customise the cars in three stages but you can't fine tune the parts but don't quote me on that. Maybe Vibroboy can confirm it?

I really would like to see a tuning the motor aspect. I want to see to cars with same mods exactally and each having a different engine tune to show whos a better tuner and who has extracted the most power out of there ride. That would be awesome. Like being able to tune the fuel curve boost curve or ignition timing or whatever, simililar to NFS2 dyno tuning. But, maybe more in depth.

true, those cars are very sexy. . .all they need is a good tuning to make the driver and the car different than all of the others.
