When I got the demo I figured people would like to see what's on offer to you so the first vid is essentially the first 15mins of the game, just to show you around and the cars and such. Second video and most recent is just a fast drive in a Gallardo.

Damn, I forgot the end bit lol. I just drove their, looked at all the cars and stopped recording. It isn't too good quality, but I didn't want waiting time to be too lone, just done it now and left it without any music or editing. I also left the music out so you could here the car sounds better :)

Nice video davie, I liked it right at the start when you managed to squeeze the Shelby through those 2 vehicles, but you forgot to show the engine cover on the Gallardo SE. ;)

With no aids the car get's really frisky over inclines and elevation changes and especially challenging when you out the power down in the dirt or grass.

Yeah a while ago I recorded the Gran Turismo 2 intro movie and then discovered I could extract the audio from the resulting video. I've looked for that version of The Cardigans - My Favourite Game for ages and it appears it's a PAL thing as the US versions I checked out had the original version of the track only. (check google video for gran turismo 2 intro)

I love that song and that intro !

While trying to get from one side of the map to the other for a video request, I was almost there when I had a massive crash which spoiled the run. So I decided to go for a high-speed run from where it reset me and I'll let you see for yourself from the video (if you watch it) hwo it went.

Yikes ! Glad May is over now (UK) and we're into a new month, my host was getting battered.

Monthly Statistics for May 2006 (videos were only up for about 3 weeks)

Total Visits: 6020
Total Files: 3124 (waterfall glitch 820 times alone)
Total KBytes: 40537620 (that's 40Gb !)

I'm glad I upgraded my hosting before I uploaded them vids otherwise I would be about £40 out this month.

As for parking, yes you can pull in, but once you hit A, it appears to go back to you pulling in. Either way, I'm sure you can skip it and act as if it never happened. :atari:

Sorry about the lack of a new video guys but I've been busy trying to find out a method to improve the quality without breaking my bank account, well close to £100 later I think I've done it ...for now anyway. Still looking at even better quality captures in the future.

Anyway, this video is to give you a small glimpse at the possible size of the island as I take a Lamborghini Gallardo along the full coastal road from the bottom to the top. Going as fast as possible and avoiding traffic is one hell of a task though as you'll see. I also had no driving aids on, and you'll see the car become unsettled over bumps and understeer when powering into corners too fast.

As for the vid I promised for today, sorry about the delay, I forgot about the 2 cracking games on the day. I am encoding the "Driving Miss Shelby" video just now, it's around 5 mins long and should be uploaded hopefully in the next 6 hours. If not then definitely tomorrow as I'll just leave it on again.
