Video Request to all demo owners

I am still attempting to get hold of a 360
and as such dont posess the demo tothe massively good game tdu is.
i was wondering if anyone who posesses this could do me a favor,
please could you video a Lotus Exige(i beleive that is in there correct me if im wrong) going from a standing start on a straight(ish) road and be looking at the gearshifter as i want to see how good the animation is.
If anyone can do this with the Lotus could you do it in a Mustang as well.
i know the lambo has paddle shifters so am not bothered about this

Hey nipper what up? I believe if you go to TBInuyasha post about a HDTV demo video he has a shot of gear shifting in the lotus at 2:59 in the video. Hope that helps :) :salut2:

Well, you would have to be incredible at the game to do that, unless you put it in manual, as you cant see the road when you look at the gear stick.

I may be able to start recording on my 360 by the weekened, I will then, if I can :)

I don't care if you crash just shift through the gears(all of them).
you don't have to redline it if you don't want to, then you wouldnt be travelling very fast at all

You need to have a capture card. I'll probably just get this one (http://www.falconcomputers.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=0_26_69&products_id=203). (I know it's a TV tuner, it has capture built on)

I tried a new encoding method which does take it's time but it gives good quality and good filesize.

All cars do it when you go up/down the gears too fast, it's almost like a stall in fact, but the engine just kicks back in without having to start-up again unlike a stall. :) Maybe one of the devs can alert us to the reason.

In the demo the AI are not the brightest to be honest, for example you could be cruising behind them admiring the view and all of a sudden they pull out for no reason and inevitably hits an oncoming car. The traffic do however pull out to overtake slow or stationary cars but there are some that must be over from the UK or Japan and just keep forgetting where they are. mdr1

lol I could always follow one and see what happens. Many crashes happen though, you stop and park up and you hear one of the AI racers screaming about and what do they do ? Yep, crash, all the time too as well, thought they may have been that wee bit more careful considering what they're driving, but then it is a game. :nuts:

Nice pic, I've seen a three car convoy on one of the roads! It was so nuts, I'm pretty sure it was the Faz, Dodge and Spyker racing. I followed them for a while, but the Viper rammed some traffic and ruined everything.

Just before that a red Shelby turned to the right whereas us 3 went left. It was pretty cool seeing all 3 of these red classics driving together.

its not a very good video, so if i cant upload it then i will make one with my tv tuner another time. its 15 min with lotus, with manual and auto gears and some of the options. and the driving mode menu
