Hello everyone, after a few days of tinkering around I finally managed to get my car club up and running. Please check out the link on the bottom of the post.

::AME:: Aston Martin Enthusiast's

We are a club devoted to the British engineering marvels that are Aston Martin. I'm trying to build a strong base of fellow enthusiast's to be apart of a mature, yet fun, gaming community. Whether your a hard core gamer, or just play casually ::AME:: shall tailor to your needs. We eliminate the the boundaries that most clans / car clubs emphasize on being overly active in the community. As long as you dont dissappear for years on end, dont worry that your not keeping your end up.

At the end of the day we are looking for players.... people who share a common interest to gain new friends and people to race with, or just cruise the open hawaiin roads with. Be sure to swing by the website / check out the forums.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem like they're going to get licensed for TDU :noooo:

Well this game offers a sense of realism with an escape from reality, so im gonna go with my dream car of an Aston. :) :) :)

They better keep bike prices how they are in real life, cos i'd love to catch someone coming out of a Aston Martin garage with their new £250,000 supercar and just burn them in a race.

me to but i would like to have at least one bike in my garage because if someone calls you out for a bike race then what are you going to do
plus i know this is off topic but online free-roam it is going to seem pretty wierd going into a house that you own and someone else does to if they own that house as well

A dev on a video interview said that you don't actually have a house online, so I don't know how you get your cars out.

me neither i think that a car is better because it is nicer to look at sometimes cars are faster cars have more features and have sometimes a lovelly interior and they are comfortably to sit in not like bikes where you get cold sitting on an uncomterble seat

Yea intially it was made for 360, but im a PC gamer too so... during release i'll most likely grab it for pc as well and manage the clan for both systems with different branches etc.

I'll Keep news on that issue nearing release time so feel free to throw that bookmark in storage until after your crazy summer adventures and see if your still interested.

1. No i dont believe i have stolen anything in regards to AMG.
Seeing as, "AMG is derived from the original founders' initials: Hans-Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher, as well as the town in Germany where Aufrecht was born, Grossaspach."

Where as ::AME:: tag stands for Aston Martin Enthusiast's Which has nothing to do with a specific performance line tag of a Mercedes.

Also if you feel upset about something similar to stuff named after not car manufacturers, but yet there performance line... i reccommend complaining to Gilelette Razor company's M3 powered razor for ripping off BMW.

2. To answer your question about being first.
I have ::AME:: when you cleary said you have an aston martin based club too, and supposedly were first. Well forgive me if im wrong but i didnt know there could only be ONE car club ONLY in this game. Thats the beauty of the internet and friendly competition.

Also how do you know you were the first to make an Aston Martin club, what if someone in england beat you long to it, or someone in denmark, or japan, places where most people dont keep up on due to language barriers in some. So sorry you feel you need to dominate the Aston Martin manufacturer for everyone in the world in this game.

3. oh and just to be fair i added this one.
Dont you think your club / clan name is a ripoff of Michael Jacksons song titled "Speed Demon"!!!

Hey join up everyone, you to can look like james bond! I just hope they get the engine noise just right its so coooooooooooool. AME seems like a perfectly good name for club to me, so i joined.

No one 'takes' an aston martin clan, without anyone else having one. There can be as many of them as people want as long as they create them.

For example, on halo 2, you can have just good old normal clans, stunt clans, film clans, a very large variety, but there is more than one of each, that is because there is nothing wrong with it.

Wouldn't it be boring if there wasn't another Aston clan that you could meet up with and have a couple races with in your brand spanking new Astons?

I'll probably end up in a car club/clan, hope to have fun races on TDU :respect:

Yea exactly, theres just to many people and very few cars to go around for every xbox 360 player to have there own unique club. It's not going to happen with TDU or any game for that matter. It always seems no matter where you go people will put more effort into flaming you then making a decent on-topic post. Oh well, good thing theres still a select group of people who are genuinely nice.

Just an update we have 4 Members in AME and open to more great players.

Don't worry we're Aston Martin based, but we are not limited to only them. I'll clarify that concept later today.

I appreciate the offer, but for the time being I'm just gonna keep it separate until the time of release and see what happens.

As for my goal I'm not looking to dominate any one specific manufacturer but rather focus more on a small group of racers, friends, and enthusiasts. This way to create a relaxed / competitive enviornment all at the same time with out killing the spirit of the game, but rather embrace it.


Thank you once again however. As for news with ::AME:: we'll just have to see when I get my keys in september.

September 5th is comming up sooner then you think. Nows the chance more then ever to find a home residing at club ::AME::, the Aston Martin Enthusiasts. We're a select group who specialize in Aston Martins, but still leave our options open to enjoying the other vehicles in the game.
