Is it possible to race unofficial, i mean without the challenge. Just following someone you spoken, then go to a very long road and by 3 horns dragrace.

Also i'm wondering if you got a friend with the same game, how do you find each other with that thousands of players in the server?

Of course...To me unofficial races will be the best. And it's what I been planning on doing. Pull up to some one at the stop light, rev your engine to get his attention. Then race untill one gets left behind or loses control.

As I understand it, the criteria for a challange race (cruising player flashes another player), is decided by the 'flashee'. Course and prize. This is then agreed by the 'flasher' and the race starts.

Prize can be cash, or even 'pink slips' - thats american for 'You lose your car if you lose'. So if you are mates, you can probably race for 10 dollars if you just want to race for fun, :)

And the traffic lights are working? Not that he is just green for 1 second or so...?

The traffic lights do work, and the 'normal' traffic obeys them properly.

I'm sure if you want to get people to race you for a block or two - you can plainly see other players driving about, and try and keep up with them.... but there will be no obvious agreement about how far you're going, or where. :mefiant:

To really race, you'll want some sort of defined targets. The game engine provides this clearly. :atari:

Previous question I asked was is it only point-to-point or can you put down points and create a lap and do multiple ?

Thanks.

I just want to drive free on a long road, you can see it as formation driving without a goal.. Just touring with some friends.

Thanks.I'm not sure... most of what I've seen has been point-to-point. I have an impression that you can put 'waypoint' markers down, but I didn't get a chance to test that. :mefiant:

Sorry. :noooo:
