Delorean?

Does anyone know if this game will include the Delorean DMC-12? I can't see how it could get left out of the game. It's one of those collector's edition kind of cars that really belong in the game.

Anyone agree? Disagree?

A car nut I may be, so back in the day, when EA made NFS: High Stakes and introduced downloadable content, I emailed them about the Delorean.

I got this reply:

Hi,

Unfortunately we have not been able to obtain a licence to produce the
DeLorean for this game. However, It may be available from unofficial sites
on the internet.

i was going to say if you go much over 88mph then the engine is likely to explode and the doors may fall off

There are claims of 130MPH out of a stock one, however I can't believe it myself and calculating an estimated top speed based on gear ratios, wheel size, drag coefficients etc it works out that theoretically it could hit just over 130MPH... Thing is, 4th & 5th gear are very close too, which helps even if pretty useless.

Anyway, should it be in the game? I would prefer other cars in there. There are so many "classic cars" so the DeLorean is in a very long queue with many other great classics before it.

That's not a stock DeLorean. Only 1 game should include that car and that is back to the future (and not if its based on the first one as thats the one from the 2nd film as it has Mr Fusion on the back which was added when Doc went to 2015 on his own).
