but only in AI cars :(

Damage was originally planned for all cars but was removed early on in the game build becuase of people crashing into your brand new £300,000 car just as you drive out of the garage leaving a £20,000 repair bill!

Also some car manufacturers don't want their cars damaged

Its a shame :(

they said in the gamespot interview video "there is NOT going to be damage on the actual cars its only going to be on the AI because you dont want to go out and buy and expensive care like a maserati and then get it smashed up by some idiot on xbox live

anyway to sum up:

there is no damage on owned cars

there is damage on AI Traffic cars

there is no damage on AI driver cars

I think that sums up this thread :)
