Atari Staff read please: Problem with Italian Baldur's Gate Collection

hello i'm italian and please, you can excuse my english

under a suggestion of the Administrator of Atari American Forum, now I post here the italian problems with BG Collection and therefore the our frustrations

Many of the your italian players don't understand well the your language and for this, we have problems with BG Collection:

1) the collection on the play.com has BG1 and BG2 with a international localization but the two expansions are only in english and for us this cause a little problems during installation and game

2) BG Collection in the italian stores (30 euro..) is without TOSC and therefore incomplete

Now i know that some guys have a italian collection without TOSC and other guys have Tales of the Sword Coast (TOSC only in english) inside the CD of Throne of Bhaal (TOB) but WITHOUT TOB that is on the italian cover box and image on CD, practically, two collection in same italian release..

I'm not sure that you understand well but atari staff, please, can you help us??

You have many italian players that wait a answer of the our problem, can you give at us a only complete BG Collection (bg1+bg2+tosc+tob) with our localization if is possible

We are disappointed and this isn't a good publicity for atari. Do you want a other example??


Atari ---> Greyhawk The Temple of Elemental Evil ( il tempio del male elementale ) ---> patches but was not compatible with my italian version or for all versions without a italian localization, and I had bought this game for 50 euro

Hello to everybody,I'm italian too,and my english is relly far from perfection...
I'm interested about Baldur's gate compilation, completely localizated in italian and with every game realesed in this series. No,not even amatorial mod,only the game inside Baldur's gate compilation published for other States. Is so difficult to do this even for us poor italian? In past,we were abandoned about Temple of elemental evil patch italian adaptation,and now this... I really hope this situation will be resolved and Atari not abandon italian gameplayer with incomplet game versions,especially with a big,classic (and fom long time unavaible) series as that of Baldur's gate.

Hi there welcome on French Atari forum

Well even if i understand your problem, im not sure about your doing.

Did you try to contact Italian Atari staff ? I think they would be able to give you a correct answer about the differents games packs.

Maybe talk about your problem on Atari Italian Forum (I think Tenebra could handle it since she is Italian and english moderator, it would be more easier to explain the problem in your native language).

Im not sure the French Forum can help you since this is not a technical platform and that we do not know about Italian game feature.
At least some people could give you details on French package BUT as we speak in english it wont be easy :(

Ok i understand.
As i told you before, the French forum is not in direct relation with your problem (because it is only a forum ^^)
Email the webmaster is only a need if you have a problem about the ATARI site (you dont have a problem with ATARI site ?) so try to MP or Email a amdministrator here -> Loneboy is the correct person i presume.

I will certainly recommand you to have DIRECT contact here:
(still im not certain about the Admin reply for localisation ... but im only a modo. rolleyesa)
