Ha, I'll believe that when I see it. There's no creditable sources at all....

EDIT* Take that back, there's a picture. However, maybe now some of them will believe me when I tell them what cars are for download....But I don't believe the Ford GT. LePhong already confirmed it's in the initial release.

There is no ford GT on that list :hin: there is RUF GT but thats a diff car.

Just like the term "Porsche", the name "Carrera" is copyrighted as well, so this might explain they could've labeled it merely a "RUF GT". :)

My guess is the Carrera GT like you say but renamed RUF GT

RUF are basically modified Porsche anyway. :)

Edit: I loved both RT12 and RTurbo in PGR3 so cant wait to be them in TDU :)

edit - after looking on the RUF site, there isnt a RUF GT, but there is a RUF RGT, which is a modded 911 Carrera.

this mail contains very intressting information. one intressting topic was in about the middle of the mail, a carlist, that's going to be released in the following months on X-Box live

Really??? Most sites say download packs will sometimes be free or cost up to 7 pounds. (10 euro's)

You could look at it as Forza 2 is getting 300 cars for £40 so there a good chance it could be free but i wouldnt bet on it. :)

I'm not even going to discuss this. It seems only Hostrup, and fun are the ones with car knowledge. You kids will jump on anything a website says.

But to set you right one last time since I'm in a good mood.

Rufs are not modified Porsches. The only time this happens is with a customer Porsche.
The Rufs like a RT12, RGT, and all those are, like Gemballa, built off a unmarked chassis from Porsche.
When the chassis arrives, Ruf go to work building their own equipment in the car.

If you tell a Ruf engineer his car is a modified Porsche, I'm quite sure he'd want to slap you. I've already had this conversation with the US' Ruf Automobili Center here in Texas.

Indeed it can but info is correct they are based on Porsche models modified porsche in other words it says they have same chassis right so modified porsche without the engine.

They're built on a Porsche unmarked chassis. There's nothing to modify.

Yes but they build there own stuff around a chassis right so am i right in saying they use part of porsche equipment ie chassis but just no badge. ?

Yeah, Chassis, as in bodyframe. None of the interior.

The only thing that could be modified is the engine, and even when they add things to the Porsche-engine, it's retuned and Ruf go through a process of nearly re-building the engine.

The interior, wheels, and everything else is either Ruf made or re-built to Ruf's standards.

I see well thanks for clearing it up but please dont put "But to set you right one last time" abit intimidating people have different views on different matters is how the world goes round. :)

Ruf/MG buys the basic shell/chassis from porsche/rover, then puts their own kit inside and occassionally outside, making a car is cosmetically simmilar to the porsche/rover but drives like something else (in the case of ruf it drives like a small liquid powered rocket :):):))

I would really love to have a Reliant Robin, solely because they would be great fun to drive awful handling but you just don't have to worry about the speed causing you even more problems.

As a guess, might be like EA's BF2 expansion downloader. You pay $?.??, download EA downloader, then download your add on (like the European one for BF2). Thats the only way i've seen it done for PC, most the time its free.

Look, i might get a X360 and also, if you get the points when you play, don't you think it's unfair if only the pc owners will pay for the extra cars and the X360 just have to play a little? But i don't know because you didn't answer.. Do you pay for them points or get them while playing ?

Nobody knows. If you have to pay for them on 1 console, I'm sure there'll be some sort of paying on the other.

There's just not enough info released on DLC Pricing, let alone the PC version.
