Conversing in TDU

Hey i am getting an Xbox 360 soon and before buying this game i wanted to know what it is like? Is i tlike an RPG SWG/EQ2/WOW etc but racing cars real life? And how do you converse with other players, Can you walk around freely etc? Can you decorate your house? Can you invite a freind other to your house? Is there servers? Can you invite a freind to have a spin in your car, Is EVERYONE you see driving around aqnother player? Thanks all..If someone could answer these i will be very greatful :atari: 10sur10

Ok well it seems no once can be bothered to give you a decent answer so i will try. You cant walk around freely, you cant decorate your house but you can have lots of different houses around the island, about 60 of them and they are al unique with larger garages for more cars. I dont think you can invite a friend to your house but you can email each other (i think) and you can visit each others houses on the outside. There are servers but its something like 10,000 people to a server so you can have 9,999 people on the island excluding you. You cant invitie your friend to have a go in your car but he can test drive it at the showroom. Everyone you se around you is another person but only when your online, if your offline then its AI.

Hope this answers your questions. Someone please correct me if i have any of it wrong.

Only one mistake, servers will take up to 60,000 players, and can be connected to take up to 120,000. mdr1

Whats the deal with only 16 people in on the map then?

You can see all the people who are online on the map, but while you're cruising you can only see 16 of them in their cars.. so when one car leaves you can see another one.

It's definetly 8 cus that's what the guy said on ign (you only see the 7 people closest to you)

you can see the closest 7 to you

i might be wrong......... isn`t it 16 inc you by sight, racing multiplayer you only see 7 + you.

yes there is AI traffic on the roads aswell in free roam and races if you want that option.

What is this "car club"? A clan per-se?

You cruise with 7 and look the big tough gang (hells angels lol) but cannot rival another gang as only you 7 are visible? Is that correct?

I just read the ign article again and it says:

I'm not actually sure what it is. Some articles can be wrong, some say there is wipers which is false. It'd be good if Vibroboy could come on and clear this up. :atari:

Thats what I'm saying, and it's most likley the person who wrote that either played the game, of got info from someone who did. It's funny how things get confusing so easy weirdblue

In Online play, it's 7 players for races. But in online free roam, is it the closet 15 players, or 7 like racing (not including filters)?

No, it's only 7. Clubs just HOLD 16 people.
