ok the sounds of the cars sound all the same, the ford gt imho sounded just like the gt500. and the kone sounded like a vacuum cleaner on steroids.

It was stated a long time ago alot of the sounds would be duplicated on TDU. :)

Ive just listened to both imo there a distinct difference between the GT500 and ford gt although it does seem to run on same sort of noise.

2 things
1) do you have a surround sound
2)the ford gt doesnt sound like the gt 500 it may have some simularities but if you have a good surround sound you would be able to tell the difference

I'll try it out I'm using my crappy laptop speakers which stinks, I'll hook my laptop up too my pc 5.1 speakers when it gets to be morning.

and im not saying if u dont have it you wont be able to tel the difference....but its easier

HD-tv's also have great sound, so that won't be a problem on the 360

calm own there are some cars that sound the same but most just have simularities like the mustang and the ford gt i can tell the difference perfectly

Its not the end of the world like Drifting King says there are some similar but have distinct diference.

It was in a very early article we are talking about the early days when all info was released that some sounds would be duplicated.

HD-tv's also have great sound, so that won't be a problem on the 360

Dunno but my HD LCD dont have great sound thats why alot of magazines will tell you to but a audio kit to go with them due to 99% are flat panels and have no room for good speakers.

And as for the sound of that koenigsegg it does sound very very poor, ok it's a recording that we are listening to so i dunno but still poor.

Ive found really no car games can accurately record sound from vehicles its all to electric to me. Saying that though would like to see what Forza 2 deliver as they are recording every vehicle and using some sort of new sound system.

No idea about the Ford GT and GT500, but the Mercedes SLR McLaren sounds wrong in the Multi Racing vid (July 14, 2006 on IGN). Hopefully its an old video...
