When I connect to the official web site, I get the normal page.

Once I actually log in, all I get is a blank page.

I have javascript and java enabled, etc.

So, registering was a waste of my time, I was better off UNREGISTERED. At least now I can get spam from atari, yippee.

Yeah, Atari's system is **** ***. Seriously, i register, so i can access the site. the registration information says NOTHING ABOUT CLICKING ON A LINK IN EMAIL TO CONFIRM REGISTRATION. Its only when i go to post here that i decide to check.

When i go to look at video's on the official website, it just redirects me to the atari page.

Oh, and i dont give a rats *** wether i get banned from the site, because until they fix the piss poor forums and website and registration information, i dont have a desire to come back.

In that case, bye bye. I don't see much point in registering to a forum just to swear. I'm pretty sure you can use your time learning some manners. Tenebra

Well, the site is lacking, but I was able to get in. Took a few days, so they fixed whatever it was.

I don't think cussing on the forum about the site is going to help, and is actually fairly childish.

Odd, I realized there was a confirmation e-mial. But I might of got a popup notice.

I am more annoyed that, by signing up, I got access to absolutlely zero more content.

Well, looking forward to the game.

tenebra,

Everything seems ok. I was responding to what's his names rant, and putting it out there in case a moderator found my post that I was able to get into the site. There was just this weird 24 hour-ish period where I logged into a blank page. As for the zero additional content comment, I meant that, there isn't really alot more after registering then before (eg. 4 creatures still) or found on various interview and preview sites. Don't want you looking into something wasting your time, time spent working on the 100 other things you had to get done yesterday....(isnt' it always that way?)

As a bonus, that spam I refered to in my orginal (and now that I read it, poor tone) message, was a notice about toolset beta test signup, so it wasn't a waste, I was just cranky.

Thanks.

Irritatus.

"Why isn't that impossible request I asked for to be done in an unreasonable time done yet?"

Yeah, I got that you were ok with the site, Irritatus, what I meant (aren't I articulate  ) was that I'll check about content. I appreciate that when people go to a site they expect decent content available, there's nothing wrong with asking for it, it's perfectly legitimate :)

Don't worry about the 100 things - I won't be able to get the 100 things done here, nor in any other of the sections, but possibly a few here and there ;)

I have problems with it too.

I just registered and every time I try to login at the nwn2 website I am redirected to the atari website.

I really couldnt care less about the atari website, nwn2 is the only game they publish that I am interested in.

nwn2 might save atari and still they annoy us fans of nwn2 like this.

Again, I'll look into it.

Constructive criticism almays welcome. Mindless swearing - obviously - not.

Hmmm, i just posted similar on an off topic forum, i cant get past the main page on the nwn2 site using Firefox, but trying it using Internet explorer and all is fine and dandy

Could it be that the people in charge of atari's websites are only designing them and testing them in Internet Explorer?

I managed to login to the site now only to find out that they have far more and better screenshots on other sites such as nwn2wiki.com

I am not going to say that Atari is incompetent or anything but they really need to work on their reputation. I cant say that I think much good of them.

that they withdrew their support for nwn1 was a bad move. more premium modules would have made them more money. it really cant go at the cost of nwn2's popularity.

everyone who still plays nwn1 will certainly buy nwn2 unless their computer cant handle it.

The issue about content has been reported - Atari is fully aware of the problem and they're trying to fix it. Sorry for the vague reply but that's all we've got for the time being. Hopefully more news (or, even better, assets) soon.

Regarding the issue of not being able to log in on the official site (just seeing a blank page or being redirected to the atari site) it seems like the atari people are using some "bad" code to do the loggin in. Using another browser (than firefox) I was able to log in successfully and tweeking some settings it would probably be possible with firefox too. The issue is probably due to some usage of javascript and/or cookies that more security/privacy-conscious people have disabled.

So if you are having trouble try changing these settings ore use another browser (IE usually works where security/privacy-settings are a problem tonguegre ).

Righto, had an exchange with Atari and they've pointed out some bugs that have been fixed. Some other ones are still being dealt with. If you spot anything, please report it here and I'll pass them over. Let's all play QA! :bravo:
