Hey guys i've been following test drive since the first video that appears of it and I start to loved it, but now one thing is annoying me, its stupid but there I go.

In the official video of lotus day cycles appears, but the day end at the nightfall and let's start the daybreak.. And the question is.....

Will we can drive all the day with real night day cycles?

night driving will be a good oportunity to turn on the lights of the cars and more possibilitys of driving experience.

PD. PC Demo... And thanks to Diablo for his GREAT tdu videos

PD. I will apologize for my English, is not my native language.

Hi,

No nightime, but there is daylight changing thoughout the game. morning to evening.

No lights ( apart from being able to flash headlights at other drivers ).

In the photomode, you can adjust the weather / daytime and add other effects to make some cool pics, but this does not affect the gameplay.

I think the game would be so much better if it had a time/weather real time cycle.

Its not going to happen, there is simply not enough room on the 360 DVD to fit all the different effects...

Sorry, if I'm being abrupt, but I'm trying to get answers in before naughty people start flaming.... This issue has been raised and discussed many times. :respect:

Could they not be released as Live packages?

I guess it might take a lot of redoing.

Possibly, but only on the Premium consoles.
Depends how much space the 20Gb Hard Drive (Really 13; 7 are to be used for updates, patches, etc.) is taken up with night time/rain effects. Didn't Vibro say it wouldn't be hard to do though?

I remember that Bouka-something (no disrespect intended) guy said that it's like a whole other game.

Is there enough room on the PC version ? :hin:

No idea, but I wouldn't expect the PC version to differ too much from the 360 version.... :mefiant:

Allright, but the Pc version could have 4 discs, right ?

Yes, but I don't think that Atari will put a real life situation, lights, weather in the PC version of the game

I don't think so either, but i'm hoping for it

Yes it could, but then it would use a lot of HDD space :)

Well, the same can be said for those who want download extra cars on the X360 but are out of space.

I don't personally care. I just got an extra 160 gigs.

4xDVD's!!!

wont that be a new record, surely something that takes 4 DVD's will need atleast 20gb hard drive space!

No, Half-Life 2, COD2, and others have taken 4 discs. I believe WoW has like, 5. I know Sims 2 had 4 discs as well.

I have Sims 2: 4 discs: several hours of installation.

those games with 4 - 5 disks are cd disks. the guy meant 4 dvd disks which I highly doubt that the game would need if it had real day to night. the most it would need is 2 dvd's imho

You're computer must not like you. I managed to get it done in 20 minutes though I agree, it's a long-arsed installation.

Yes, 4 CDs, not 4 DVDs. WoW takes up about 5gb on my HDD, and thats 4 CDs, that means 4 DVDs would be a lot more.

I reckon it will be either the same or below. It isn't a priority as Atari have confirmed so I doubt that will contain anything amazingly exclusive.

installing the sims2 was a pain in the a$$

atleast there was the minigames to get you through the proccess though

The sims 2 - possibly EA's only decent game

The only anoyance I had with the game was the amount of speed it took to turn your view in-car. Takes forever to look while at a stop sign. ;)

I actually reckon it'll be better. Given that's if the game can get a mod community going, and Atari releases all the tools to implement the cars.
