I went to my ebgames today and preordered the Pc version of TDU and they said its going to be in stores the 1st October.. Im writing this coz i remember ppl saying that its going to be out like november.. hmm

It's in October sometime, that's about it.
Preordered my copy from CDON.com and they have changed it to 2006-10-09. I hope its true, can't stand waiting any longer. :P :atari:

Current official statement from Atari is PC, PS2 and PSP versions to be released in Europe in November 2006 TBC.
Please, don't make me say it again, it's not like I get the dates from some dodgy site, I get them from Atari themselves. lightbulb

Yea we know, that just sounds so far away, November... That can be anywhere from November the 1st to November the 31st :cry:.
Atleast those dodgy site dates gives me hope on a more earlier PC release date ;).

I dont live in europe im in australia .. I just dont go to aussie forum coz lack of activity..
I've visited a few Atari regional websites and I've got very disturbing informations, or better to say it seems like every site has it's own information.
U.K. site is reporting that the game will be released during October
German site doesn't seems to be working.
France site doesn't report anything about PC version at all
Spanish site doesnt' have release date
and
Italian site says that release date is February 15. 2007 eekblue:

I hope so too, although I would be even happier if english information was true.

OK! This is something, so we can expect the game during second half of November, that's good. So, anything new 'bout the demo ?
In France, all the videogames shops are saying 14 of November.

Guys... forget bout websites... they aren't updated by manager of TDU when he sets a release date ;)... moderators of this forum which are people (like tenebra) can get updated through a simple e-mail... so if you use your brain to process this very very difficult reasoning task... you will come to the conclusion that a moderator, or a developer or a certified person of Atari or Eden are mor reliable and updated sources than a website :)

Anyways, I talked to a Streetwise fellow who gets the e-mails from Atari, and he says the same thing as Tenebra. November.

Yes but as posted in another thread you MIGHT get your game earlier if ordered from the Publisher directly. I just do not know if Atari EU does that :(

Me too. I guess it's all a misunderstanding. He probably ment 2 months from now and I thought that he ment two months from the day of PC release date.

To be really honest I'd rather wait another extra month for them to get all the bugs out than get it ASAP and wait months for patches...
True, me too, but it would be nice to have some confirmed informations about PC version such as system specs, release date, demo maybe... just like Sh4dow_racer said.
