I dont think anyone knows yet, but probably to get the most out of the game, you'd need a higher spec system (dual core CPU, and a better graphics card, as 2GB RAM is fine, as long as its PC3200 DDR400 at least).

Looks fairly good. Id say it should run fine once you dont wat all settings at high. I cant wait how Itll run on my Sli ssystem though (2x BFG Geforce 7600 GT OC)

It will run better then on mine :)

P4 2.8Ghz
512Mb RAM
GeForce FX5200 Pci (256Mb)

That's why I have a Xbox360, did cost me all my vacation pay but mhwah... haven't been anywhere since '93 anyhow.

System setup is :

AMD 64 3700+
1.5ghz ram pc3200
2x BFG 7600 GT OC.

Si I should have no problems in running it at maximum settings.

Axe_Gaijin If you upgraded to more ram and a more recent GPU you should be able to run the game better. If you have an AGP slot Id recomend an NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT 256MB TV because it is a good card for its price 73 € (50 quid)

That's the entire problem... no AGP slot :(
It's a Dell that came with a crappy 90mb onboard card. (I was on a tight budget) When I went to upgrade the GFX card the FX5200 was the best I could find for a PCI slot. (been to 5 stores in 3 towns)
So in order to further upgrade my PC I'd need to buy a new one, in the end buying a Xbox360 (and Oblivion) was the cheaper option.

You could have upgraded your Motherboard case and Graphics card for a lot less than the Price of an Xbox 360. If im not mistaken You could buy a good Motherboard for that CPU for around €80 or less and it would come with a PCI-e graphics slot The graphics card I pointed out is fair cheap and a case you could puick up for about €40..

All you would have to do after that is salvage the parts you needed from your current case for the new one. For example you could take the CD/DVD rom . Harddrives and PSU from your current case and install them in the new case. Thats where I started off building computers and if you install everything the same as you took the parts from your old case you should be done within an hour before having to reinstall software.

It depends on how scalable TDU is... Being developed on consoles maybe not to much but that should give you about the same performance as a Xbox 360... However you are running at a higher res more often on a PC so... But seriously I don´t think you will have a problem running it on that computer. May not be able to max it out depending how they do the scaling up :).

Hopefully they scale it so you can make as much use of todays beasts of computers as well as letting it run well on less hardware :)

But I am more worried about running constant 100 fps like in FlatOut 2 maxed out then it not using max of my power :)

With y Previous GP (XFX 6800 GS XXX) I was getting 75fps in flatout 2 with all settings at maximum @ 1280 x 1024 (max resolution of my monitor) but I havent tested it with my new setup yet. I hope I will get just as good with TDU.

If you would like more advice on upgrading you can get better advice than I can give @ GURU3D.com (http://forums.guru3d.com/)

I hope not. Flat Out 2 has a fps limiter at 100 I think but I rather use that useless extra performance for more eye candy instead :)

The best looking games I have is those you can´t max out ;)

So I should have no problems in running it at maximum settings.

I wouldn't count on that too much depending on what you call "no problems". It's true that it will likely run, since you system is no slouch, with everything at maximum and the resolution at 1280x1024, but depending how much serious detail they really incorporate into the game you might not get consistently acceptable frame rates the whole time.

I am more inclined to agree with oqvist in that I would rather not be able to completely max out all the settings with my current hardware (which is a little more robust than yours even!) and allow some room for even greater looks in the not too distant future. This is of course assuming that what we can achieve with near max quality can still take our breath away.
