The other day i got my new monitor, so i had to plug the left and right channels (from xbox360) into my PCs sound system (Creative 2.1 THX sound system). So i eventually got the right adapter to put the 2 audio leads (white & red / left & right) to one stereo jack into the back of my subwoofer as a audio input.

The Gallardo Spyder sounds nice in the 1st demo on my sound system, but i noticed that 75% of all the game noise came from one of my speakers, mostly the engine noise, and the other speaker done the noise when you enter and select things.

Has anyone else had this with a seperate sound system? I swapped over the inputs on the adapter, and it just swaps which speaker does which sound, and changing audio inputs doesnt change anything.

Im almost sure it has to be to do with TDU demo, because i just played PGR3 and the sound is equally spread across, and sounds perfect.

Any help would be appricated, im just hoping it doesnt do that for the 2nd demo and the game itself when it comes out.

Ive got mine hooked up to my surround system and it works extremely well...All the sounds are balanced and when the need to be the demo sends it to the correct speakers. :atari:

what setup have you got can i ask? and do you plug the xbox360 red and white leads into read and white leads on your sound system?

because as i said, i've has to use an adapter to make the red and white go to one stereo jack for an audio input.

if its a problem, i'll get a new setup which works with the xbox360 and my pc without any problems.

Have you checked the software on the 360 maybe you have it set to dolby digital, if not buy a new cable

On my PC the sound comes out in a very bad quality, so I have to set the volume on the 360 low, and turn it up on my speakers. Hope you understand.
I use the | audio converter.

I can't think of what's causing your problem, maybe one of your connections isn't in right? I use the optical lead into my amp for 'pure' dolby digital surround sound (good stuff :) ) and the demo appears to work fine. For example, swerving infront of AI traffic and hear them crash behind me.

I'll play the demo again after sleep and such and listen to all 5 speakers indivudually to see If anything isn't right + I'll unplug the optical so It's just stereo and see if it's even or not.

I have a 5.1 system but i have to plug in 5 different speakers. The sound is awesome as it does use the correct speaker.

The sound is immense when you drive in-car in the Exige, can hear the engine behind you
