online & offline

:hin: can someone explain to me about online and offline.Because it is confusing me to hell. like can you use the cars of you offline carrer online or do you have to start again totaly for online carrer.? :hin: ?

The offline and the online part are totally independent. You have lets say 2 careers, one in offline and one in online. You can only use the cars you bought in the offline mode in the offline mode and the cars you bought in the online mode can you only use in the online mode. :) :respect:

online do you only get money by racing other people, or are there challenge's online aswell

Yes I thought there where challenges also in the Online Mode :)

But you you go online the only thing different is that the AI drivers and now real drivers.

So was I.. Having 2 totally independent careers would be dumb, stupid and idiotic... You would have to play sooo much. At least i would be pissed off if I had to start from the beginning when I start online after playing offline at first..

I seem to remember tenebra saying that you basically have 1 career, and that offline or online its the same, just online you can do multiplayer races and seeing other people / your friends, but in online the houses arent the same affect as they are offline, you still own them.

Even at that point, it still wasnt 100% clear. But i do remember mods saying it wasnt 2 seperate careers for online / offline, it was just 1 multi purpose career (online / offline).

Wait and see to be honest, unless a mod answers to this. :)

i'm sure i heard otherwise, something about being able to progress against AI opponants doesnt mean that you will be fine online, like, just because you can take advantage of rubbish driving on behalf of an AI opponant, and being able to win lots of money that way, doesnt mean you can take that 'easy' money onto the more talented and difficult world of online

Well, delivering a supercar for a millionaire on the game for about £100k, is easy money.

But to be honest, im gonna waut and see, too close the the release to get bothered about it. :)

Vibro even confirmed the mods response. You have 1 career. It can be played on or offline.
