Forza 2 release is 3rd November in UK according to Play.com so not really to long to go.

And according to official site they are putting finishing touches on the game so all might still be good.

If you read this article it says fine tuning so you never know really hope so

Very possible. Chespace10 has already told us that Team10 is planning on Forza 2's release before the year is out.

I don't know guys, as I told you the lastes I heard from Atari on Friday pm was a "nothing confirmed", which means absolutely nothing. I'm not going to call my contacts at 9.30 on a Sunday night to talk about the forum tonguegre Sorry, we've got to draw the line somewhere ;)

Tomorrow I'll speak to them again and see if we can get any firm info, until then just please try to believe only what comes out of here or the US forum (as long as it comes out of Mattlab, Betatestadmin or any of the Atari guys) :)

pro evo is the 3rd game i'll buy after TDU and Saints row!! Didn't expect the demo to come out sunday anyway, so the sooner the better imo.

Thats a lot of good stuff coming out soon, I wish Microsoft had made the hard drives bigger, mines full already.

Going to get one of those devices to save stuff to the PC I think.

You got nothing you can delete from it like old demos. ?

I have already deleted quite a lot of demos but whats left is what I want to keep.

I have ordered a serial adapter for the hard drive, so I will be able to transfer everything to the PC.

20 gig is really small, when some of these demos are coming out at almost 2 gig.

I always delete demos after I get bored... The only ones Iīve had for a long time, are TDU and Moto GP... I usually have like 7G empty...

And hey, please, tell me ONE demo that is "almost 2 gig"... I canīt even remember downloading any that was over a 1G...

Maybe 2 gig was a slight exageration, I can't remeber which one it was but it was a recent demo that was well over 1 gig.

I am a bit of a horder and like to keep things if possible, I have tons of downloaded demos from the net I just archive them to disc.

Probably need to see the doc about that obsession eh :)

I still have piles of demo discs from the original PS1 games mags.

Just checked my 360, I over exagerated the 2 gig, it was Dead Rising that was 1015MB, guess I was wrong. :o

Anyway, I have got about 400mb left and everything on there I want to keep.

Also when the Just Cause demo comes out it is meant to be a one off Island (or area) so that makes it unique from the game itself, and that will be another demo that I will probably want to keep. :)

I'm afraid that the MarketPlace release list stated at the top of the page is almost completely made up. The only thing 90% confirmed is Just Cause. The rest is based on what someone was told by an unconfirmed source.
The poster of the release list is a member of an entirely unrelated forum and is quite pleased that his rumour has stread far and wide.

I'm not suggesting that this is a good idea for any of you to try, but couldn't you just pry your 360 open pull the hard drive out and mirror the contents onto maybe a 200gig drive and then put that back in the 360?

Perhaps this has already been tried, I had no idea. Is there some practical reason other than cost considerations that the hard drive is so small to begin with?

I dont think its as easy as that. Not 100% sure about it but I think the way the interface is made its not as easy as opening the enclosure and fitting it in a PC, I have a three year warranty anyway so dont want to void that.

I dont know why the drives are so small and why they cost so much for a measly 20gig.

Maybe. But you'd be hard pushed to find anyone on here who is willing to void their warranty.

I figured someone must have tried this, and I was right. Over at AnandTech (http://www.anandtech.com/systems/showdoc.aspx?i=2610&p=5) they have a whole article up about taking a 360 apart. It is not an easy process to replace the hard drive, and it voids the warranty for the hard drive unit, however the hard drive itself is a simple 2.5" notebook hard drive using an sata interface for both power and data. This would mean that in theory if you wanted to you could slap in a 160gig drive if you really wanted to... :)

In theory that may be possible, but I remember reading something similar and it said that even if a bigger hard drive was fitted in place of the 20gig, the console would still only recognise it as a 20gig hard drive.

I think it has something to do with the way the console formats the drive and reads the partition.
