and btw, how will the packs downloads work on a PC? do you have to buy them, or just download them off the net? Cuz little Micro$$$$oft hopefully won't charge money for PC.. dam them

MMm.... If they charge us Xbox360 players, what makes you think that they won´t charge you? And personally, I wouldn´t be so sure that there is downloadable cars to pc, because there has never been any word about it... If there is, they´ll charge somehow...

Personally I don't like the looks of the R34 at all, tuning or no tuning. I much rather have a R32 or R33, much better looking IMHO.

Same with EVO & Scoobies they just look to "boy racer" for me, I preffer the older more "normal" looking ones.

I might be the only one here but if they release a car pack that contains several cars that I would really like then I don't mind parting with (I'm guessing here) approx £5 to get my hands on them.
I imagine that Atari will release cars that can be bunched together, say, a pack that contains just additional Ferrari's or classic cars so everyone will be free to choose which pack they would prefer.
Atari have mentioned that the packs will be split into free and ones that you will have to buy and I have a strong feeling that the music packs will be at a cost due to licencing issues.

There are more than enough cars contained on the DVD to keep me busy for a long time and if I feel that there are no more cars that I would like on the DVD, I'll have a look in the Marketplace to see if there are any that I would like.
Saying that, the extra car packs might only get released once a month so that will give me enough time to save up some pocket money to spend on them. :)

Thats because the Golf R32 is a genuinely good car in it's class without upgrading it, whereas the Skyline is pretty much average for the class unless you upgrade it.

Don't forget that cars have to be licensed, car manufacturers sometimes can be peculiar ;) Anyway, this will be a growing game with all the downloads, you never know. And the more successful the game, the more willing car manufacturers will be to agree to license new cars.

So, as intelligent gamers looking for more and for more quality, keep up with the good work in the forum (which is your way to show off how valuable you are) ;)

Paid for content: I was told that each car costs a small fortune to develop (if my memory doesn't fail me, it's about 10k euros per car for development work only, plus licensing), hence a reasonable fee to expand the game was the only way forward. After all, game expansions are always paid for. Please don't ask us about the fees as yet, no confirmations as it stands.

Something like that. Personally I think you would be hard pressed to properly judge the role of the North American Accord without having spent a decent amount of time there. I'm Canadian originally and my Dad has driven Accords since 1984. They have changed a lot over that time, some of which for the poorer granted, but it's a decent car.

Before I left the country I was using his old '94 Accord as my everyday car. Sure it wasn't as sporty as the 328s or Integra Type R's that some of my friends were driving, but on a twisty coastal road I wouldn't exactly be lagging behind (at least not seriously so).

It's not, and will never be a sports car, but as midsized sedans go, it wasn't the worst! Especially when you compare it with its American rivals.

well im 18 and i think the tt rocks the Supra...

Okay; it got less horsepower but i think the quattro is suberb to the rwd of the Supra in the cornering.. And as you all know: It's not all about going in a straight lane...(well maybe in the US where the roads are all more then 10 metre wide in the city.. but not here in Europe(if you're driving a 1-way lane you may be lucky if you can get trough it with a Ford GT or any other supercar))

Im not sure if you're familair with the Nordschleiffe but i see it quitte often that supra's are being outruled(esppecialy in the corners as karrousel) by TT's..

Just checked the stats and this is 0-100 and topspeed:
Supra:5.8s, 250 kmh
TT:5.7s, 250 kmh(as the gentlemen's agreement want's to)

weight:
Supra weights 1595 kg
TT is 1430 kg

So the TT is lighter wich mean's that in combination with the Quattro drivetrain it has a advantage when compaired to the Supra..

And if i get a crash i'sd rather wanna be ein a tt as in a supra cause the TT is Safer...

well then you just had the basic TT...
When i compare the PRo-line to the Supra i can easily see the difference's
A Supra for e.g doesn't have(what tt does have)
Parking sensors
Radio control on steeringwheel
satnav
automatic darkening rearmirror
xenon headlighrts(wich is a very usefull feature sinds it's much safer then old-skool headlights like those from a Supra(wich aren't even being made anymore)
Boardcomputer


So the way i see it(and the way i got it listed here on a very good source) is the TT more luxorious as the Supra..

AND in my oppinion the TT mis Way more Classy then the Supra...
And the TT doesn't need to be modded to look good...

it rocks and looks more classy then the one of the supra wich indeed is more a boyracer(for a boy with big bucks) Then a TT wich is more a ride for the no-nonsense higly educated bussinesman who likes to go fast in the weekends and likes to drive in style during the week and doesn't need to have 2 cars for that...

but ask yourself why you see so many tunned up supras answer is because they have the best jap tuning engine there is so everyone tunes them but that doesn't make it any less luxurious.

You're right......it won't have better graphics than the 360 but it's still going to be online. And the graphics for PS2 aren't that bad. They're pretty good.

If I had one I wouldn't use it in the rain, who needs a radio when you have the wonderful tune of an engine. And I know one place where I can use the acceleration (not saying where tonguegre ).
And the only way you would get arrested is if you can't drive tonguegre.

I have to say i drive a Mitsu TT and TwinTurbos and 3.0L supras make damn good power. I don't see any AUDI Ever beating a built supra. Supras are highway monsters and have always been. The only car that rapes on the highway possibly more than a Supra. Turbod LS1 just plain mean. But i still love the supra more. But LS1 Turbo rapes.

A Supra TT is only just able to keep up with an Audi RS4. Same 0-60 times, but the RS4 has more grip due to better tyres and Quattro 4WD.

Any other Supra would get totally kicked by an Audi RS4 or RS6.

That depends how you see modding. I'm not talking about sticking new bumbers on, I'm talking about fitting parts which bring a 200bhp car to 400bhp+. True modding to me means you have improved the performance in some way. Not altering the look of the machine.

And comparing modified cars to modified cars really is the weakest comparison because different companies have different advantages over each other.

You'd have to buy the SAME part for both cars, and that's not always possible.

Always compare stock to stock. And when you do, you see a RS6 is a much better peformer than a Supra Twin Turbo.
The Supra is great, but it isn't THAT great.
