how flimsy is that wheel and the pedals!? :o

looks like the desk mounting is optional, so i guess there won't be any feedback since that would not work if placed on your laps anyway!? even with the attachment it wobbles.
and the pedalset is moving around...

Yes it does look a little flimsy, and the pedals were supposedly designed to stop moving about, but they still moved.

I always find that pedals seem to be uncomfortable unless they are securely fixed in some way.

But if they get a wheel that works as good as a real one in its responsiveness I will get it, just have to wait for the reviews I guess.

I screwed my Pedlas into the metal at the bottom of the frame - and i use the Wheel on my Lap as it has "Huggy" things on the Side

It's all right - i wouldn't really reccomend it if your on the Larger side, There's room to move about But your supposed to have your arms out in front (because it came with a moddle piece to mount the steering wheel but i took that off)-it's all customizable. You can get them off http://www.gameracer.co.uk/, mine is the £150 Set up but i got it off Ebay for £31 - Bargin

£31!! That was a good deal.

I guess its quite possible to build a custom one, just get an old car seat from a scrapyard and weld a few bits of alloy to it.

£150 sounds a bit pricey though.

Good Thinking Batman - will Probabaly more comfy too, if you had the tools you could custom it to you and wouldnt cost you anywhere near as much
