Why are they launching, TDU por ps2, while they could Wait a little more, and launch TDU for ps3, better graphics, and much more...am I the only one concerned with this problem ? :mefiant:

No. PS3 can rot in its **** japanese game hell. PES 6 and Smackdown games arent out for 12months on PS3, because the makers wont waste their time with a console not even made yet.

Dark that's funny, but in the real world PES6 (wahey!) and FIFA 07 (yeuch !) is exclusive to Microsoft and their Xbox 360 in the next gen series of consoles anyway. It has nothing to do with the "devs can't be bothered". And who the hell plays Smackdown, you must be under 12 years old if you like them.
I don't think TDU will make PS3 but I feel TDU2 will definitely make it.

My 16yr old mate plays Smackdown. YEh i know its "exclusive", I know its not cuz' they cant be bothered, but it said that they wont bother making the game, if the console isnt made. Difference.

It wonīt... Turning this to PS3 would take a lot of time and money...
And when they would have a PS3 copy of it, the game would have been on X360 and PC for a loooong time. The game would be already quite old.
If they started to work on the PS3 version now, it would take months and months, since many game developers have said that making games for PS3 is somehow more difficult than making games to X360. And hey, you know how long this game was under development? 4 years if Iīm not mistaken. Polishing all little details to a console that they have no experience on...
My guess that if they started to make it now, it wouldnīt have any chance of coming before next summer...
I donīt really care if this comes for PS3 or not, I simply donīt believe it will...
At this point in a finnish forum people would call me an Xbox360 fanboy, but they truth is that Iīm probably also getting the PS3, when I go back to Finland next august...

Wtf dude, no way.. this time it's gonna be a close call. PS3 won't sell that much for one simple reason, it 200 euro (140 pounds) more expensive than the 360. And there have been rumours saying that the PS3 isn't gonna be that powerfull. Watch my words :respect: So 360 > PS3
LMAO I always got to laugh at this topic, who cares, 360 is great, PS3 is great, it's the games that make it. PS3 might sell more because they do have the bigger fanbase (100 million+ PlayStation's worldwide) but it will all come down to the games and there online strategies. TDU is a very very big help for the 360, no denying that, but don't discredit Sony or even Nintendo too soon.

Not true, you must be joking... PS3 will not sell as well as the PS2, because of the price. And for example many people in Japan consider Wii as the best nextgen console to buy, because it costs like half of PS3, and it offers something new (I saw a study about this). While PS3 and X360 offer the same things as PS2 and Xbox (just with nicer graphics), Nintendo is innovative.
Even the controller is a good example:
- Controller of PS3 is close to PS2
- Controller of X360 is quite similar to Xbox controller
- Wii controller is something unique, different. You have 2 parts, one to each hand (sometimes you only need 1). And the "main controller" has a motion sensor that allows it to be used for example, as a racket in a tennis game. There is a tennis game like this coming.
Sure, PS3 controller has a motionsensor too, but Iīd like to see you using as tennis racket..

A console that costs like 500-600 in europe, just canīt manage as well as PS2, that has been under 200 for years already. PS3 is so expensive to make, that it simply can not be sold with cheap prices..

Sure, I still believe that worldwide, PS3 will sell the most, but it wonīt sell nearly as much as PS2 did compared to Xbox and GC...

In all honesty I don't think the PS3 could run this game with the amount of physics and polygons that need to be used at one time. Plus the loading times on the PS3 would be hell. Believe me or not but the PS3 is not as powerful when it comes to power and graphics if you would like to talk about this with me my Gamertag is I3azooka have a good day.

Yeah I saw that about GTHD, I wouldn't buy that seeing as it's GT4 mainly with just a spruce in graphics, dang PD has copied EA's way of making "new" games.

as far as PS3 is concerned, i dont see an extra Ģ150 of fun over the Xbox360
to be honest i see an extra Ģ150 of useless frills that i wont use. me, im going wii60.

I actually havenīt decided between Wii and PS3...
But I think I might end up getting Wii, because PS3 is so damn expensive. Donīt get me wrong Sony fans, I would like PS3... But after my speech a moment ago, Wii seems so much more worth the money :)
And one word can describe Nintendo: Innovative...
PS3 and Xbox360 are close to each other.. The only difference is some games.. But many come to both consoles...
EDIT: Damn, Wii will be my other console...

Gran Turismo was the only reason I would buy a PS3, but as it is just a port, why bother?
I am more of a lover for Xbox as time goes by. Just because Sony dont really make much effort. The controller.. OMG!?!!!??!?!?!??!? It may not be a big deal, but its extremely pathetic to be having a 6year old controller for next gen. And getting rid of vibrations is another thing that may not be a big deal but, when you play your 360, until the batteries are onto its last whimpering legs, and the vibes go, you notice it alot.
Another thing is the Japanese arrogance. They wont play anything that isnt manga like, or has Final Fantasy in the name.
The price is another set back. Its not exactly easy to whack out Ģ425 just for a console. You could spend a bit more and buy a laptop or a computer

motion sensing stuff inside the controller - nicked from wii
big logo button on the controller that brings up an interface - very xbox guide button
Sony being innovative simply doesnt work. look at the original boomerang controller, or the betamax format...

out of all the consoles the wii is the most innovative
and then comes the 360
and then way at the bottom is the ps3.
the ps3 has copied many of the features of its rivals such as the integrated online service - xbox live
the download service - xbox marketplace
the controller - exactly the same as the ps2 only uglier
the moving sensor thingy - nitendo
NOTHING is new or innovative.
next year after christmas i will use my christmas money to buy a wii and then next christmas get a ps3.

Actually no... Innovative is something new and different.
New processor is a normal development that happens in technology. If you think like that, then every new electronical machine is innovative, simply because itīs better than the last one...
But if you look at the controller of Wii, and think that you can use that as a tennis racket in a game, that is an innovation...

from screenshots, the ps3 looks no difference.
Its exactly the same as the 360 and the PSP put together
When you press the Xbox button on the controller - you get a nice menu
when you press the ps3 button (which they copied from.....guess who) - you get the psp menu (seriously you do)

we know that because the original PS3 controller was a boomerang shape and completely different and didnt have motion stuff.
Then Nintendo announces the motion sensor and a month or 2 later sony suddenly seem to have the same idea!

Every company copies the competition even MS and Nintendo however MS and Nintendo have been fairly innovative but you can't rule out Sony either. Betamax was better quality than VHS but it was also slightly more expensive but it's main downfall was the fact I think you were limited to 60 or 80min tapes.
I hate these conversations, it's as if people believe they have some kind of moral duty to uphold their purchase as the best and disregard everything else. It's a shame really.

Seriously your see no difference in graphics quality of games only thing your see different is the specific console games ie the Gran Turismo and Forza.
Imo the PS3 has rubbish launch titles its overpriced and 360 already will have a ton of killer titles before PS3 has hit the shelf.
And im no fanboy in fact i have never touched Xbox since last year when i bought a 360. I had a ps2 before and im really enjoying 360 and ill probs get a PS3 when price comes down. :)

I'll tell u why PS3 has motion sensors. Because Sony got sued for 90.7 million dollars for having vibration in its Dualshock control. So this time, instead of puting the vibrators in the controller, they're just putting a motion sensor.

Quick and simple answer. xbox 360 - best looks, and power.

Wii - too over done. But not out yet.

i would rather use my xbox for games that rely on processing power (like racing games) and my wii for games that engage with you (like FPS's and platform games) aswell as using the wii to bring back much loved childhood memories mdr1 (virtual console)
therfore i wont need a PS3, every game i need horsepower for will be on Xbox360, and if i want hi-def movies, i will pay Ģ100 for an attatchment to my 360, rather than a Ģ500 console

I would never spend Ģ300+ on a console. I'm just not that desperate....I loved my PS2, but the PS3 doesn't work for me. THe games on the 360 attract me more.....

you know microsoft created the sidewinder controller in 95' which featured rumble pack and motion sensors that have the same angle limit as the PS3 controller.
