OK. First I'd like to say that I'm writing this topic for those that want an opinion from someone that has it.

Four words.....

Don't. Waste. Your. Money.

I bought it ($20) and it worked great for about a week and a half. Now every time I start the Xbox 360, it makes a noise like plastic grinding against plastic. This is do to the fact that the fans are made of cheapo plastic and eventually get off center, so now every time I turn the 360 on, I have to take the IC off, beat it on something for a minute (I know, all expensive things are eventually degraded to being beat on something tonguegre ) and put it back on. My advice to those looking to buy it... it works really good for about a week and a half, then you have to do something special with it to get it to work. If you really, really want it, I suggest keeping the recipet (sp?) (make sure your game store accepts exchanges, like EB Games) and exchange it when it gets broken. Personally, I think my Xbox runs pretty cool, I just wanted something to keep it cooler. Just a little word of advice to people looking into the IC.

I'm trying out a fan right now for about a day or so that has 2 controller holders on it. Pretty good so far for $15.

I have one already.

It seems to do its job, barely, it reduced the temp by about 6*C.

The biggest problem I have with it is the noise, it is quite unbearable at times.

I only start using it when my console gets to about 45*C (got a temp monitor at the back).

All its doing is providing extra suction to remove the hot air, maybe if a fan was put on the rightside air intake blowing cool air in, it would have the same effect?
