Filters dont work?

Ok, im wondering if it's my connection here, or if the filters simply dont work 100% like they should be working...

I have played this game with 3 friends now... seperatly..
and everytime i use the "friends only" filter, where, as it says, "locates your friends and join them in a instant", i connect with them for a couple of seconds.. and then they dissapear like the rest of the players! :nono:

I tried to lock them.. nothing.

I tried to isolate the session... nothing.

I have the same thing with certain car classes only, or certain players only..

Again, im not sure if it''s me or if it's the demo...
So two questions come to mind:


Does anyone else have the same problem?

And if so, will this be fixed in the final version?


I simply dont want to buy the game to find out that i cant play it with my friends... that's what it's all about!

And how am i supposed to know this? there was no mention of a "this is a demo, and is not how the final product will end up like" screen...
When i try those options, it does not say that you cant use them because it's a demo...

So... how are you so sure then?

cos it has been said before in the demo feedback thread i believe

anyway the game comes out in 4 days and the yanks get it in 2 so questions about the demo are a bit stupid now

The question on this demo has a lot to do with what the final product would be like..
i ask, and you can read it again before you call a question like that a bit stupid, if the filters work at all, if it's a glitch on my end since im on a router and cant connect to everyone, or if this will be fixed in the final version (was hoping vibroboy would be around to take that one.)

So it has quite a lot to do with the final version.. since a demo is kind of a representation of what a final game is like.
in fact, all of those three friends i played with, are not so sure if they want the game now..
why? because those filters refuse to work in the demo, and a excuse or reason for that, is no where to be found in the actual demo. People simply get put of by things like that, no matter if it's just a demo or if the game comes out in 4 days or so.
And not every xbox360 gamer browses these forums you know, and by accident see the "demo feedback thread"...

I will look up that thread and read the "official" statement on that then, but this should not be the proper way to find out.. like i said, not everybody comes here and reads some statement about this in a thread...

I don't care about the demo...but I damn well hope the filters work in the full version.
