every time i try to install tycoon city new york the following msg comes up
Component: Default Europe
File Group: Default_Europe
File: E:/data2.cab
Error: Data error(cyclic redundancy check)
wat does this mean and how do i fix it?

hi, not sure if this will help or not. i think i had problems installing because of my regional settings, check in your control panel. i.e if set to united states change to your region. i had to change mine to uk. this can also prevent patches from being installed on certain games

As far as I can find a cyclic redundancy check means that Backup Exec could not write data to the media or read data from the media. A hardware error is most likely the cause of this issue.

Make sure the disk is clean and give it another try.... :respect:
