Because of the glitch where you can be chased by cops online, I just lost $112K to a cop while I was in a freeride race with another player!!! I spent 2 hours yesterday earning $150K and because of this glitch, I lost over half of it!! madred:
What makes you think its a glitch?

Yes, but all I did was nic the cop and he gave me a $112K fine!!! I even pulled over figuring that if I did it would be a smaller fine than if I ran from him. It was $112K!!!!!! for nicking a cop!!

It's weird cos I was delivering the Shelby Concept and a cop rear-ened me and it didnt even take any cash of the meter thing. I was well chuffed as it was right near the end and I thought I'd loose the perfect.
But yeah, some of the fines are pretty damn hefty!

Its because the fine is topping up if you hit anything and you lose police that fine is then stored until your caught that why fine are massive.

Once you get on the money ladder you will realise that it is pretty easy to make money in TDU so the odd scrape with the law shouldnt be to bad. ie getting stopped 4 times totalling estimated $225k in fines (lol lost count) whilst attempting the millionaires mission (120+ miles round the island in 60 mins) Was worth it in the end heh

Hmm, you didn't hit any other cars did you while during that particular Free-Roam session, did you?
Because if you hit 8 cars within a 2 hour time span without going into a building, and a cop starts chasing you, those 8 cars get added to your fine.
