YES! YES! YES!!! mdr1 :bravo: :)

And as one of the developers said, it will also support 900° mode, clutch and H shifters! ;)

Welcome to the forum by the way...

Haven't bought one yet, still in the market I guess. My brother has that Saitek R440, which isn't bad, our previous one was some crappy non FF wheel, so it's a big step up.

Does anyone have recommendations? A DFP seems nice, but that Thrustmaster one looks similiar and is a bit more recent I think (the rallye one).

Not sure I want to be spending 200 euros on a G25 as my first wheel, unless TDU ends up supporting all its features.. then I might reconsider. :)

There are act-labs standalone shifters I think. Anyways if you guys have a DFP, a MOMO or a Microsoft Sidewinder check the FREX GP site, it's got many awesome accesories for your wheels, such as mods for the wheel itself, rev meters, displays, pedals & shifter and more.

Yeah, i wanted to get the pedal set for my MS Sidewinder non force (great wheel, excellent for demanding sims like GPL, GTR, although you may need to stiffen up the brake pedal with a squash ball) but i was not willing to shell out $450 AU for a pedal kit. Thats more than for the whole Logitech G25, although it is a far more serious pedal set.

Still, ill have a look into the G25.

EDIT - i jus noticed the G25 is force feedback. I seriously doubt i will buy it, unless i try it out in store and end up liking the force feedback (which is highly doubtful).

lol i can see the appeal of the item linked to at the top of this thread but i have one Q. Why have a clutch pedal? Its not as if you can feel the bite of the car or anything else to special. Would just be awkwerd.. plus if you didnt hold down the clutch on the pedals, would you hear a loud crunch if you tried to change gear? :p or would it just not work.

Just seems to be a waste of money to me specially as you can hop into a car or even onto an arcade machine and get the same kind of thing.. but what do i know heh just my 2 cents i guess

Myth, probably. I've never heard of it before now and I've been looking for a decent wheel for a while. There are only a handfull of wheels that are compatible with xbox so if PC wheels worked there would be far more, which seems logical to me. Your going to have to get one of the current available wheels which can be easily found via google or wait for the new MS FF one.

Oh if you tried hard enough im sure theyd work - you need to translate certain signals to certain lines, but essentially they are similar.

To that end, there are companies out there that create 'converter boxes', and there are companies that create wheels that work on both PC and Xbox/PS.

But a normal PC wheel that works on an Xbox without conversion? I dunno..
