TDU seemed fun when I had a quick go in my local games store, so I was looking around for prices but something struck me, that I don't think has been mentioned yet (at least a search didn't find anything)

TDU on the 360 is a budget title in the US, with a RRP of $39.99 which works out about 21 quid. Yet in the UK, the RRP is £49.99 which is full whack. Even factoring in the way we end up paying a bit more for stuff than the US, I'd expect it to come in at £29.99. Yet we're paying more than twice as much than folks in the US.

How come the game was sold at a budget price range in the US, but not in the UK? It seems a liberty to charge that much extra for the same game.

i think they are going for something like restoring the faith in the test drive franchise, by showing the masses what a great game this is, and to make it more availible, they make it cost less

Welcome to the world of economics.. you will find that nearly everything you buy in the UK will be cheaper somewhere else.. get over it. The value of money changes where ever you are so the simple fact is this game is the same price as every other game on the UK market (360 games of course). Im sure that all games in the US market are competitive towards TDU's prices but its a different country so different currencies = stop posting nonsense :p lolblue:
