hey I was just wondering after watching some of diablos videos and other gameplay videos and was wondering if us PC users will have the same or nearly as good graphics as the xbox 360 guys. I was stunned when i saw the visuals and whole island. Does anyone have any REAL pc screenshots of in game graphics cause I have a strong XPS PC and I wanna see if i can get some good eye candy also

Depends on your PC and it's hardware. I know mine will look better than the 360 version like all the games released on both that I could compare :salut2:

PC Games can usually get more eye candy depending on your PC. I think I wouldn't run it with more than 2/4x AA and 4/8 AF cause I have shitty RAM, but I'll wait and see if it's much of a resource monster.

hahaah lol better!!?? thats a toughy because i played madden 07 for PC and 360 and i had graphics turned to the max and i can say that the 360 looked much better still.... I just want the game too look AS GOOD as 360 not better because usually they make the PC version differently but only time will tell i guess.

Heres my system specs:
Intel Pentium Dual Core proccessors rated at 5.3Ghz
2 GB Ram( 2 slots available still for 4gb possibility)
Nvidia Geforece 7900 GS 256mb PCI-Express Graphics Card
and thats mostly the main things for gaming i guess

Get yourself an ATI X1900XTX 512mb, everyone knows that is the best card out there which makes any Geforce look dated :p

It will make ANY game look better and play smoother than on the 360 (which always has some lag problems, in all games). But I would also say wait for the new Directx10 cards which will be even better, somewhere next year. They will even beat the PS3, on all areas.

Look, i expect the models, textures, engine, physics, ai and all other elements of the PC game to be pretty much exactly the same as the Xbox game. Possibly they will add to that options for higher res textures. The 360 is only slightly different to a normal PC anyway.

The PC, however, also allows for custom resolution, as well as AA and AF, all outputting on a higher res monitor (depending on what you have), and all that will amount to a game that looks substantially better than on the Xbox 360, even if the actual models, textures etc are the same.

If we have a look at Oblivion on Xbox vs PC, the Xbox 360 version actually wasnt running with all the options maxed out, while you could max them out, and then mod them to go higher, on PC. The display differences just sealed the advantage.

So dont worry, im sure the PC will have very fine graphics. But it might not run as smooth on a mid range PC.

Sorry wrong word and I meant StealthVlad,

I think you(StealthVlad) can run the game on 800X600 and with everything on low or somethings on medium.

I don't think that TDU will demand some monster PC to run it. Maybe for high effects yes, but for normal settings I believe that mid range PC with good graphic card should do it. I mean, judging by the XBox videos, graphics are really great, but not something you have never seen before.

I'm going to be pre-ordering for PC later on from Play.com for £24.99 due for release 24th of November 3 days after my birthday :chapeau: lol.

The PC version should have alot less bugs and a few more options hopefully, and I should also be getting a Logitech G25 steering wheel for my birthday aswell so I will be very happy

this game will run in 800x600 on the lowest details ?
i know it's a very slow gfx card but maybe at 15-20 fps  :mefiant:

I think your graphic card is just to weak. I had same one and it even couldn't run my NFS4 which is 7 year old game. Even my OLD Voodoo 2 12Mb accelerator with Matrox Mistique 4 Mb could run that game.
The rest of your specs should be, IMO, enough for low detail game.

Almost all EA Games look better on the 360... for example fifa 06 looks great on the 360 but on the PC it runs very slow on a high end pc and you can't adjust video settings lol. This is a move to promote the 360...

Hypermemory... If I remember correct it isnt dedicated VRAM, insted it uses the RAM memory, might be a bottleneck... Apart from that TDU will surely run just fine. But then again only a Demo or the real game will confirm that...

thanx for the answers :)
and yeah, only a demo or the game itself, lets us know how de game will run :)

and yeah, de hypermemory uses from de RAM, but it isn't that a big deal, with 2Gig RAM, I think that will be enough :bravo:

If your saying a 5200 is too weak for NFS4, you would be wrong. Something else must explain that. But it is too weak for TDU

I'd tried to run it at 1024x768 and it was damn slow. Now, with Gainward 6600 GT GS it runs smooth on that resolution with everything set to high, but I don't play it anymore... waitin' for TDU.

We are talking about Need For Speed 4: High Stakes here right?

I dont know why it was running slow for you, but that game ran fine on my Pentium III 600 and Geforce 2 MX - a 5200 should have no trouble, and if it ran slow then something else is at fault.

Maybe... Maybe it was the problem with the patch I had to use for the XP... it uses NFS5 graphic settings.
