View Full Version : Best Car. Mclaren F1 or Mclaren F1 GTR.
Hey I was wondering what IS the best car in the game? I was told its the Mclaren's. But there are two.. The 1,000,000 and 1,500,000 one. Uhmm.. Which one is better??? The lesser priced one is faster but the more price one is better with everything else. PLEASE TELL ME. I got like 1,180,000 and Im wondering If I should try to get to 1,500,000 or Just by the other one. PLEASE reply mdr1

Well as there is another F1 coming as a bonus to us who preordered at Game.co.uk (F1 LM i believe) i would wait and see. But for overall quality stick with the standard F1 as the GTR is just a tuned version which is made to race ie fast exceleration but terrible top speed.. plus its $500k more! lol cant see why weirdblue
Just think what you can do by tuning a standard F1 eekblue: maybe 265mph top speed? lol sounds nice to me. Well my Koen can get to 262mph and thats a lil slower than a standard F1.
yeah..but where do you get them tuned!!! I only found 3 places, but there not for mclarens? Do you have to actualy find the place or is it on the map and im just missing it?!?! :mefiant:

You will need to drive arround to find most of the races/mission etc on this game. I believe the British specialists is near the Aston Martin dealership.. on the same road just a little south. Basically pull out your raod map and get searching lol can be tedious but will be rewarding in the end :laugh:
Uhhmm..Still cant find it? Where excalty? Little more descriptive for the mclaren Tuner.

Let me fire up the box and il have a look. The place is called British Parts or British Specialists.
Well the place is called Brisitsh Specialists and its on the same road as the Jaguar Dealsership. Get your paper map out and find H-8 its in that box.. just follow the roads and you will see it.

Still need more opinions. Dont know If I should by the Mclaren f1 or the Mclaren f1 GTR??? If I were to tune the regular f1, would its handling get better?

Overall you should buy a standard F1. It will improve all the stats of the car and will make it pretty formidable.
Just buy what you think is best. Then save up and buy the other.. simple lolblue:

It depend on what race you are doing, the Koenig is the fastest car in the game but it's far from the better handling one imo
Actually in the game i have both Maclaren, the enzo, the mc12, slr, Koenig, Zonda, Saleen, pretty much all the supercar and i think the Enzo is the best but it's far from the fastest so if it's a race with long straightline im gonna go with the koenig (stage 3 tuning so it's like 424km/h max) and i dont know for the Maclaren since i only tune my GTR and not the "basic" one

So i tune my basic maclaren and it can go to 425km/h so it's more powerfull but not really much in a speedway with some aspirations (? i dont know if it's the word in english, sorry when you put your car behing someone else and your speed go up in because you have less wind?)

I want to have a one car that I drive around all the time and I could win. Lets say I dont know what kind of race Im doing, so what would be the best all around car. Good handling, speed, acceralration, etc. Im a great driver in the game too. I know its also about your driving skills. But what would you say is the best all around car for a Skillful Driver?

Its not just for preorders. its for people who bought the game in shop also. On the site plain englsih "when you buy this game" etc. Game.co.uk Advert (http://www.game.co.uk/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=11293&mid=326930) I sent an email to game with my receipt number.
Not sure when the car is out yet though!

I think your missing the point. Having just one car just wouldnt work. As people have said there are good and bad points about all the A cars. Why wouldnt you know what race your doing? it tells you before you accept the race fcol.. and finally if your such a great driver then why do you need to know what the best car on the game is? surely your skills will let you win even with a slower car in the class? lolblue:

So like JayRL, you cant really have only ONE car still if you want the best i think it's the basic MacLaren, it's not the the best in handling but it's not awfull either and it's the fastet so in long straight your not gonna be outspeed like you will be in an Enzo
Anw, it's still way better to have some choice, i mean you dont have to own 50 60 car or more but having 2 3 in some category is nice

McLaren F1 full tuned is better then the F1 GTR full tuned, but if your me buy both and get loads more of expansive cars.
