May I know how to activate the use of the Rear View Mirror on the game screen? :hin:

Its not in cockpit view & I can't find it anywhere. :mefiant:

Thanks.

you can ust the analogue stick when using the in cockpit view to glance at any of the mirrors. perhaps widescreen makes them all visable? in any case, i thought it is kind of neat that you have to move your head too see them.... you can also look down at the nav screen on the dash in cars so equipped, and its the actual nave screen that is on your HUD... i only hope i can get myself used to using the in car view. its much for involving. i just get too distracted. I also like the fact that in manual mode, the driver takes his hand off the wheel and puts it on the shifter before you actually hit the button to shift. very neat "shift light" :atari:

Oh No!

Don't tell me there is NO Rear View Mirror ?!?!

How to check on cars behind you?

Its so difficult to keep looking back as you'll lose sight of what's in front momentarily.

For a slower car to battle the faster ones, the best tactic is to block. Period. Without the rear view mirror, how to know which side to block? By the time you look back & turn back to the front again, you'd probably crashed!

In PGR 3, its so easy to check back due to that rear view mirror.

Tell me its not true ...

Thanks. tonguegre

it isnt true... did you not see in my previous post that there are rear AND sideview mirrors? But only in "in car" view.... and good luck blocking... i havent encountered 1 single driver on multiplayer that will tolerate it, and doesnt just ram you, or ride your bumper untill you spin. you better off out-driving them.

Oicic ... sorry, missed out on that, but thanks for the tip. :)

As I've not gone online yet, my single player challenges with the software generated cars still allow blocking (rival will not spin me out). My sole Audi TT could beat a Ferrari (F430?) using blocking & bumping it off roads ... at times.

But thanks for the non-tolerance of such tactics on multiplayer mode ... I'll keep that in mind. mdr1
