Holy ****! I've been checking the release date for the PS2 version and it was set for November release, ai've just checked now and it's set for a 16/02/2007.

Can't believe this.

I don't want to sound elitist here but there's no way I'd wanna have to play this on a PS2.

On the websites, it says that it's coming out on Oct 24 in the US.

I for one would like to see some news/footage on the PS2 version aswell. My mate hase been around several times now, just to watch me play the game, he's planning on getting it on PS2.

I saw it on play.com, it's for the UK release, I'm really angry at this delay, I think i'm going to just import it when it comes out in the US.

What I don't get though, Is why release the game on the 360 which has a very small amount of consoles on the market, when they could have released it on the PS2 and XB, Everyone knows that Atari is having serious money troubles at present, so it would have made sense to release it on current platforms first, would it not?

Though I hope your not referring to me because that would be silly. I own the three top platforms and have vast experience with all of them. Also on the road to becoming a games designer myself, its vital to know how each platform works and what doesn't work. Being open minded is compulsory.

All I'm laughing at is how PS2 is out dated and the likes of Halo (concept) made the PS2's processor burn up. Go figure? :)

Sorry mate, didn't mean to come of rude.
But toopics like this usually wind down to a "my console can beat up your console" type war, hence the fan-boy comment. :)

I ATM have PS2, Xbox & Xbox360 and I'm still loving my PS2, I'd really like to see Atari/Eden pull it off. Although i'm afraid it's going to be a watered down version.

I have several different consoles ranging from the Atari 2600 to the 360, but I still love the PS2, when games designers really work hard on a title, the little black box can pump out some seriously impressive visuals.

But lets not turn this into a play school and start arguing about which console is better, I started this thread to have a nice chat about the PS2 version of the game.
