If you're encounterting problems trying to download the pre-order cars on the Xbox Live marketplace, ie the download fails, there is a quick way to address it.
If your download has failed and you can't use your Microsoft code again, here is what you need to do:
* Click on your Gamercard
* Select Account Management
* Select Download History
* Select the Offer Name
* Click Download Again

Ok.. trying again since no-one answerd me the last time...
Ok so i got my PreOrder Code (slip that was inside the cover) & was told to go too the "atari+TDU"/pre-order" site to reg it... & did. & thats about all i have done + downloaded that 20mb LaunchPack. Now... i'd guess that i'd get an e-mail from some1 right? or... cuz that 24 digit code isnt the one to use on marketplace is it? some1 please set me straight here...
some of these posts "in other threads" got too much irrelevant stuff btw... peeps should try too stick too the TOPICS!!!...
please answer... this has taken way too long already....

check your junk mail, as most users have had the same problems

Its also both of my m8s....
& again got a @gmail.com (google)
& nope no spam/junkmail
also all that happend when all of us "enterd" that code on the atari site, was that the page turned back too logg in....
you guys could atleast have fixed it so we got a confirmation that the code was valid.... or that we would be sendt an e-mail....
& when i tried to re-enter it again ... it was unvalid (used up)... so something musta happend....

also ... all had the cards for the McLaren LM btw...
a fix today would be nice... im sick & tierd of waiting for atari... 1. 3 months for gamerelease :p ;) & now its 1 day short of a week, since i got the game & "pre" order car is no where too be seen? c'mon dont tell me u guys are sending out the codes manualy :p?

Funny habit you got there when you "type" stuff, wonder where you picked it up "from".
I can imagine it's annoying but if you're waiting for that one pre-order car why not try out some of the many that came included?
My code was five sets of five numbers or letters fyi.

i mean... since all codes on "redeem code" is 5x5=25 letters/numbers...???

Umm... You enter the pre-order code into the marketplace on xbox live not on the website.
Go to Marketplace, redeem code, type in digits, it will download, your done :)
p.s my cat actually doesn't like fish, but loves fish food :hin:
nah, whats said on my slip is too log on to Ataris site & reg. then input that 24 digit code. The MS one is 25 digits. Some was supposed to get an email i'd guess? & that code dosnt work on market place but did on that /pre-order page.
what bothers me the most is that the only thing Atari sais is that its gotta be the users fault... I dont have spam filters on my e-mail. Another thing is saying that having AOL/Hotmail+++ is a problem :p that would make like 70% of Ataris Costumers :/

Dacana, where are you based? In Europe all you need to do is enter the code and download. The car will NOT be in your garage, you'll still have to go to the right dealer and buy it. If you're in the US the process is slightly more complicated, it'd be quicker for you to visit the US forum for details.

UK preorder codes were emailed straight out from Game and Play. They are then entered directly into the Xbox live redeem prepaid code system
Some European countries have used a slightly different, more complex system.
Where did you purchase your copy of the game from?...
Norway & none of wich i've spoken too that used that system had gotten it to work :/

The rest of Europe used a slightly different system to that in the UK on the preorder codes front..
Reckon you need to go back to the retailer as your first port of call...
nope they dont have a clue (retailer), they tried the same thing... & nothing happend...
Ive heard the US peeps got the Lambo Code today, but still no luck for us.

Hi everyone.
I got my copy the other day (I'm in Australia), with my McLaren F1 LM voucher. I can now see it in the McLaren dealership, but they want $1.3m for it. Have I stuffed it up, or are these bonus cars just added to the game, and you still have to pay full price for them?
One of the local retailers here was advertising the fact that you get a "FREE McLaren F1 LM car when you preorder test drive unlimited worth $1.25m virtual dollars", which lead me to believe I could buy it for $0 from the dealer in the game.
I've got the same system as dacana, whereby my voucher directs me to www.testdriveunlimited.com/pre-order/ then I have to become a member, enter my code, and wait for an email. The car is now available in the store, I just want to know if I have to pay full price or whether I've done something wrong.

I preordered the game a few weeks back, and went to buy it a few days ago.
On retrieval, I got the Exclusive Lamborghini slip. Said on the back;
"Instructions:
-Go to www.testdriveunlimited.com/pre-order
-Enter in your email address
-Enter in your key code
You will recieve a response email at launch with your Microsoft Key to unlock your exclusive in-game car from the Microsoft Market Place. This download will be available with the launch of Test Drive Unlimited Xbox 360 until the 31st of October."
Then, in a box, a 4x6 digit code.
I've entered in www.testdriveunlimited.com/pre-order and entered the code.
I reside in Australia, buying from a local store.
Still, after 4 days of waiting for a response email. Still no email.
Hoping if someone could help me out?

EDIT: Everytime I entered the code, it would take me straight back to log-in. Causing a bit of confusion in my head.

What really bites for me is I'm in the Navy and I pre-ordered this game Still got the receipt. The guys in the GS told me I would get the code when I pick up the game. Well when I went to pick up the game a couple days late (was out to sea) they had no more codes for the free download. So now i'm pretty much azzed out. oh well just felt like ranting about it. laterz

but seeing as you are in the navy, you will be out to sea so much (im guessing) you wont ever get a chance to use the download cars (if you had them) cos you'll be too busy out at sea
if that made sense.....kinda confused myself writing that - too tired :cry:
