Ok peeps, i have ordered my 360 and TDU. (couldnt wait til feb lol) And wanted to know what the best car would be to buy as your first in the game. I was hoping for the exige, elise or caterham.

in the begining you'll have 200'000 bucks to spend. Most of the money will go for your first house. You'll have something like 50k left. So the very first car you will buy won't be anything that fancy...go for the Audi TT for your first car ;)
When you'll have more money, I'd advise you to buy the Jag XJ220...that's what I did, haven't regreted it ^^
well first of all you rent a car choose the audi. very simple a sleek design. After that you buy a house.....blah, blah...........then you come across three dealers, ALFA ROMEO, AUDI, SATURN. go to the alfa garage only 37,000 roughly erm so yea have the alfa then save 52,000 and get a chevy.

The Alfa GT was my choise !! And i think i was a good one. :nuts:

definately the alfa for me, only regret was modding it to stage 3 and taking it out of F class :mad:

as my first rented car i went with the audi convertable, then i bought the audi A3, great car but as soon as i had the money i bought a caterham and i've done about 4-5k in that, then i bought the ford GT40, but to be honest i didn't like it so i sold that and got a TVR instead, gonna try and get 1 of each class of car, then i reckin i'll be sorted!
My first car I bought was the Audi TT, I looked carefully through all the stats of the cars I could buy and even though I really like the look of the Alfa, the TT came out best and ofcourse it has 4wd.
audi tt interior isnt as detail as the alfa, like some cars on the game, theres roughy jaggy edges and everything, thats one thing thats is a big let down for tdu.
I dont particularly care for the looks as I said in my other post, all I care about it performance, it could be rusted to death with bits hanging off for all I care aslong as it wins me races.

im pretty sure you can do fine with any of the first cars... just test drive them, see what you like.
Thats probably about the best advise in this thread actually, Test drive them all and see which one YOU like, just because someone else preferred a certain car doesn't mean everyone does. We could sit here all day and praise the cars we chose but you could pick that car, start using it an think "This cars rubbish, I should have chosen (insert car here)!"

i got the alfa GT, then a viper then a vantage.. all really good cars for your first 3, and all 3 of them cost less than 250,000 lol

Yup that's true.
I'm playing on 6 profiles so I started the game with different cars.
For me the Alfa GT suits my style of driving best. I've seen others say the same about the Audi TT, but I was rather diassapointed with the heavy understeer in the TT.
I'm sure though a lot of people would say the GT is to twitchy. ;)
Only car I would advise NOT to take is the SSR. Sure, it can still win races, but you won't have any fun doing so.

Reserve the Shelby Daytona, brilliant car looks good very quick and a class G car that tuned can do 200+, cost 1,000,000 but by the time you get the notification that it's in you'll have raced enough to earn that 3x over

i got the pontiac from rent-a-car (cheapest) the saturn sky as my first car (cheapest) and after a few races, got a caterham (ultimate in cool!)
Thanks guys. I got my 360 and TDU today!!!!Rock On!!! I bought the TT and love it. Going for a Caterham or Exige next if I can!

hehe guys! its been the 4th day so far from when i bought my Xbox360..
my first car was a Audi TT(black)(sold)
2nd was a Gallardo SE(white)
3rd was a CLK55 ///AMG(silver)(sold)
4th was a Lamborghini gallardo spyder(dark grey)
5th was a ferrari F430(red)
6th was a lamborghini murcielago(black)
7th a Koniegg(orange)
8th a Maclaren F1(orange)
9th Zonda(yellow)
10th a Jaguar XJ++++(silver) cant remember the model numbers..hahha
