Im kinda curious here, how can one person advertise a car for 1000 for example, then someone else on this forum say i'll take that, deal done, but as soon as its on the trade, 10000 people think, wow, a bargain, and all hit 'buy' at the same time?
Is there an option to sell to friends? Can you trade between club members? Cos if you can that would be ace, i have looked, but cant see that you can.

Like somebody else asked, is there a way to trade / sell with just one specific person? A lot of my friends have picked up this game and we'd like to do multiplayer races, but they've got some crummy cars, so I'd like to sell them some of my nicer cars that I don't use anymore.. my Mazarati D-Class and some of the others.
Or, is it possible just to sell within your club?

I guess whan Atari gets their act together many of us will be pretty sick of the game and move on to something else. Its ridiculous that they cannot get this working 2 weeks after release. The servers still are a problem for some of us...and so are the supposedly free cars which we have yet to see.

When I was playing, I sold some cars, but now that I have done every race and challenge, I´m collecting the cars... Now I have 90/92 :) The other 2 are classics so I have to wait to get them...

cos it worked for a few hours the other day and it worked when the game was realised for about a day

There are plenty of deals and steals on there. There are cheap deals and others jsut put up that stoc 350Z for $1,000,000 lol. It was working for like the first week for me and there were A LOT of cars for sale. I sold my Alfa on there.

I managed to get the game 2 days before official release and there were literally hundreds of cars up for grabs.
SLK 55 AMG for £5,000, sold it for £60,000
You could make a darn mini game out of buying and selling if you have the patience if thats your sort of thing :laugh:

one thing I'm upset about is the day before the trading went down, I was trying to sell one of my cars. But acidentally put the wrong car on for sale. It never sold but it still remains for sale on Live. I can't use it or anything.
Please tell me there is a way for me to remove it from sale on Live. :atari:

Noo, that's bad news. Oh well, it's probably pretty much the same as the standard one to drive. It's far from the best car in the game but it's still amazing. The looks and the sound are awesome.
I hope they release the Zonda F in the future, that's a mean car :)

When is this Trade Function going to be 'fixed'? When is there an exact date for it? Shouldnt it just work straight away? Instead of waiting AGES until it can be fixed! Thats the last achievement i need and i cant get it because of that trade function being down ALL of the time.
Ill give it a week and ill just trade it in.

Read the other posts and you'll realise they are working on a fix, as it's been explained they can't just create the fix and whack an update online, it has to be tested and then tested and certified by Microsoft.
and if you're that bothered by the extra 10 gamer points you get from completing a simple trade then i doubt you'll trade it in, if you're not interested in playing the game you might as well just trade it in now and have a week on another game.

TBH i think there should be Achievements based on time served in a game,not complete it in a week,if its broken and awaiting a fix which may take some time and you cant complete it due to a lousy 10 gamerscore,then there would be less arrogant people online.
This game has more to offer than numbers which appear on your gamercard,more content is coming, a fix for trade and drive ins which open up more to do and more competition due to the fact it will probably fix the impossible times and speeds in them.
Sorry if i sound abit mean but games are to be enjoyed not a means of a bigger internet penis on a score.Take aslong as you like on the fixes Atari s some people want them.

Im wondering when the trade room is fixed if the prices on the classic/collectible cars will go up/down with supply/demand. Might have to buy a few more now before price goes up :wink2:

By the time the trade function is working again I'd think that everyone will have enough money to buy the cars themselves anyway. As none of the cars are really rare (everyone gets the chance to buy them at some point) can't see the values rising much, if at all.

Go and reserve it. I think you must either spend a certain amount of time on the game or mileage to get it.

I saw that car last night eekblue: . It was driving around the racetrack and it didn't have a gt, but you could only se the distance to it...
It was wierd cause ihad the Koeningsegg and i had about 235mph and it just went past me... FAST!!! eekblue:

I think if you downloaded the launch pack, the download cars appear on your game but aren't available to buy...

yes you do have to have gold you cannot play games online without gold
silver is only for talking to friends and downloading things like downloadable content,gamer pics or themes
