What cable did you get and what PC monitor do you have? Is this for a 360 or original xbox?

I have this setup, but my screen has multiple inputs. Configure your XBOX to Standared definition instead of HD before you plug it in, so that you can choose which setup is best for you

I have the VGA cable, connected the xbox and pc to a switchbox, so I can switch whatever I want to view. Max resolution I can play on is 1368x768. I wish they had 16:10 monitor support on the xbox, so I can play at the highest resolution (1680x1050). It works like a charm though.

well i got i figured now guy, and OMG i thought on the normal screen the visuals were good but on here eekblue: there just in a whole different league one problem tho, the sound cables are not compatable with my comp so i got all the visuals but no sound, gonna send the cable back tommorow and get the slightly more expensive one which will work! :chapeau:

coulda just done what i've done and buy a stereo jack to 3.5mm converter, cost about £2 and connected straight into the monitor speaker input.

That plug came standard with my VGA cable. Didnt use it though, I had to extended the audio cable so it could reach my audio mixer.

I got one of those switch boxes also, but have trouble when trying to use it with my Flat screen monitor, get a shadow type effect on everything :( getting so fed up with swapping cables over ....
