authentication error!!?

Anyone else getting this error when trying to download the toolset?

yes. everyone.

to cut it short: right now you can't download the final presale toolset using your code at any official site. there are however ways to download a not officially released version of the toolset. according to moderator tenebra this is _not_ the final toolset you want to download but an incomplete beta version. according to developer shane there will be an official download as soon as possible.

please read the other threads to get a more detailed overview about what is (not) going on at the moment. and keep your fingers crossed :)

Know what's not funny... every country-site now working (well the login maybe not, but they're at fixing it) just the german link leads to the french login page *sighs* (well at least it's french language but aboth stands the 'DE' for Germany, heh...)
Somehow I think more and more Atari simply hates the germans... hehe rolleyesa

Please don't try the download in Europe until you see an official announcement somewhere either from Atari, an Atari official (Baker in the US) or myself (my announcements will always bear a stamp of approval). To the best of my knowledge the download is not on yet. The available download shouldn't be accessible and it's only a beta version, as Tanita rightly said. Please don't be tempted and stay away from it.

it's been that way for three days now, no "work in progress" visible to me. but i don't think they don't like germans, there seems to be a larger-scale problem at atari germany. i hope tenebra can find out what's going on there tomorrow!

Well I was a lil bit ironic with that sentence :) Just notice they love to make strange things when it comes to germany tonguegre

However, enough childishness, I know everyone is treated the same, somehow at least.

Was waiting for your official word anyways before I try anything, just deleted my cache (since I had still the looping german-webiste in) and then saw that, not trying to give in any code or whatever until it was said official 'Go' :)

meanwhile they seemingly have fixed the problems, i just clicked my way all through from www.nwn2.com, entered my name, email and code and got validated and was linked to the download-server. but i just wonder if this really is the final toolset, because the ftpserver ist named ftpbeta?

Maybe a good tip. I am from the Netherlands and got a US pre order code and had the same scaling problem.

I fixed it by changing the settings on my computer from The Netherlands to English(United States)

Go to:
Start menu -> controlpanel -> regional options -> regional options ->

Choose English(United States) for the standards and formats...

This probably has to do with the decimal point settings. Americans use a period and we use a comma...
