View Full Version : Out of stock? LIMITED EDITION - LAWFUL GOOD

I've decided to get the lawful good limited edition, but play.com have it listed as 'out of stock'. I've checked the Atari site (http://www.uk.atari.com/index.php?pg=product&id=175) but it just takes me back to play.com. Does anyone have any information on this? or will I have to go to Game and get the chaotic evil box?
I've pre ordered the standard box from play.com for a friend, and yes I do know it's not released yet . . . .

Have a friend in UK who has the same problem, seems like they are already sold out about the Special Edition, about the Chaotic'Evil I do not know though.

Limited editions tend to be limited tonguegre
I'll check with Atari for stocks, bear with me.
as far as i know PLAY and GAME each only sell one version of the collectors edition (don't know who has which). perhaps you simply asked for the wrong version at the wrong place...?

Quite true Tanita, but I didn't make that mistake.
Play.com have (or had . . .) the lawful good edition

Just because its 'Out of stock' at the moment doesnt mean they wont get it in again (even thogh it hasnt been released yet!). It depends on wether youre prepared to wait........ :respect:

i can't get hold of the Good LE either, so i preordered the Evil LE, they are both vertually the same anyway so i don't care which LE i get when it is released.
the us CE and the european LE differ in content, e.g. there are both rings but no figurine inside the us boxes. bear that in mind, as you surely buy the LE because of the addons :)
i'd simply wait until it's in stock again - can't be too long, though.
whats the difference between the limited LG and CE, i would love a CE if i could find one, i'll ask at my EB, i already have a pre-order there

Check my earlier reply for details (links) on both packs. Short version, CE is only available from Game.

I get my games from my local Game Store so I have to go to the dark side
(Chaiotic/Evil edition)
for those NOT familliar with Dungeons and Dragions alignment
There are 3 possibilitys for Good > evil
Good, Neutral, Evil
and 3 for lawfullness
Law, Neutral, Chaos
so possible alignments are
Lawfull Good
Lawfull Neutral
Lawfull Evil
Neutral Good
Neutral Neutral (True Neutral)
Neutral Evil
Chaotic Good
Chaotic Neutral
Chaortic Evil
The premade characters in the sets are directly oposite in alignment
I have EMailed both Atari and Play.com (the latter I had to use the technical support EMail as there is no "contact us" Email) to ask about more stock. It is Sunday so I hope for a reply tomorrow, Monday 30th Oct. I also asked Play if there were any sister sites where they have an arrangement and could get it from
It is also available on the Amazon.de web site so I have asked them if it is in English or German (both the written word and dialogue)
I await the replies

On another forum on this site they talk about www.freerecordshop.nl from the Netherlands. One of the writers is from there and suggests the boxes are the same. I have writen to him to ask about the language for the writen and spoken words

I was extremely p****d when they ran out of stock and was kicking myself because then I found out that it was exclusive to play.co.uk (I left it because I have never bought anything from them before so wasnt sure). Im glad your happy because I certainly was when I preordered it yesterday :)

We dutch people are lucky to be so insignificant that we always get multilanguage versions covering entire Europe (incl GB) excluding the horrible dutch language :p
The game should be playable in English, though I can not verify this myself since I have yet to recieve my copy. Just saying there's a 99.9% chance :)
There were appearantly problems with the limited edition, as it didn't come to where I got my presell. Didn't care too much for which edition I'd get, but was going for a limited edition cause those were where the presell was going to get deducted from.
I now have the normal one, but I got the store to deduct the purchase of the presell off the price anyway.
Now, as far as I can tell, at least with this version which start cause ít's patching right now, all that seems to be in dutch is 2 pages of the manual (which tells nothing to begin with) and the packaging.
