Someone Please Explain Simply

Ok i've been following some of the forum for awhile now and through all the problems and what not that have come up but i'm still slightly confused. I am very easily confused so I just need someone to state simply.
It is monday October second
I go to http://www.atari.com/nwn2/presell/preorder/US/validate.php
enter my information with my unique key from the original email with my user name and email and I get the authentication error. Is that happening to everyone at this point? Because some have said it was fixed but its still not working for me. Is this something I should just wait out or do I need to speak with atari. Or is that website far to bugged and I need to go to a different one. Dumb people need help too!

it was said that there are (or have been) problems with some codes not authentifying properly. sometimes it's just because you misread an 0 for an O (the former beeing "zero", the latter an "O" like in "Oh my god!" :) ) or something alike. so trying different "interpretations" of your code might help.

but then you used the US link, i have only tried the UK one (as the DE i'd normally use has been down for a while now) and found it ok.

and although downloading is possible, technically, there still is no confirmation that this is the final presale toolset, so download at your own risk :)
