I am the Community Manager over at the Atari US forums. We understand that some users are still having problems actually downloading the Toolset right now. Because of this we have set up a forum to gather this information so that we can get a solution to you as quickly as possible. Please provide us with as much information as you can, ie your location, where you bought your game from, what error messages you are getting and if your code is in fact not working please PM it to me so I can get some one to look into it. Codes should now be working fine. Again I can only apologise for the inconveniance caused by this.

OUrs work now. As late as 1am hubby and my codes were saying error, but now they're working :) thanks baker!

That you don't have to feed me that the codes should be working fine. All I get to this day, when trying to input my code to download the toolset, after having preordered it, is authentication error. Yes, I preordered through my local Gamestop store.

Update, I used a new code I got from the local Gamestop for my presell, and the new code worked. The original Presell code is junk and doesn't work, so that one will be getting ripped up and tossed in the garbage pile.

Since I requested people to do it so that I can get their code to work again. I work for Atari US, and this is easy to confirm by following the link in the top post of this thread :)

As it was I wound up getting a new preorder code at Gamestop recently and that code does work. Note, that the code that doesn't work is going to be destroyed and will wind up in the garbage.

As cross as you are, baker011 was only pointing out that he isnt just 'somebody here'........he is the Atari Forums Head Administrator in the US.

He is only trying to help...please treat him (and other members of this forum) with respect..... :respect:

respect doesn't come from titles and ranks, it comes from what you're doing and how you do it.

having said that, baker _still_ earned my respect. sad enough, no one from atari germany did. there are still customers with non-working codes, and lately we had to learn that atari has neither the will nor the power to make amazon.de refund the 10€ germans had to give them for the toolset when the game ships.

i'd really like to buy my nwn2-box in the uk...

Okay.. so I am having some issues. When I try to download the Toolset, it asks for a username and password. People keep mentioning using your pre-order code as tha password.. how about the username? I tried my login username, and the Code as both Username and password, no luck, 530 login incorrect.

Also, trying to get the Merchants Friend send me to a Redirect.php page.. but it doesn't do anything. It just sits there at a blank page and doesn't do anything.

I can't imagine I am doing something wrong here, I tried this on FF and IE7.

Any help much appreciated.

hmm... at this point just wait the remaining few hours until your full version ships. as _you_ didn't pay for the preorder-code as we silly germans did it won't make a difference.
