we all know that maserati trophy is a pain, well, having spent $1,000,000 for an MC12, and tune-up, and atleast 2 hours of trying i finally got a near perfect run, and right at the end of the race, a car comes over the crossroads, and takes the tail out, and i was about to restart (after lots of swearing!) and then i thought, sod it, so i whacked it into reverse, went for about 200yds at 45mph and lo and behold, 2 seconds under the limit 'you have won the gold trophy'

ive found that often when you think you should restart, you shouldnt... ive been in a battle for first slot with some guy for "return to sender" ... my fastest run by 2 seconds, i crashed 7/8ths of the way through the run, and i decided to not restart, and finish the race... low and behold it was 2 second faster than my previous best anyway (and now i know i can do it faster than that bloody aussi). when you are driving 10/10ths its easy to get far enough ahead that 1 crash may not screw you up as bad as you think.... unless its a ways into a highspeed strait.
